A Victorian-style cemetery containing the earthly remains of Vancouver's most prominent families.
Overlooking the ocean, this is a lovely final resting place for many Victorians. It is large and well kept, and an interesting place to think of the past and ones future!

Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Forest Lawn Memorial Park are located in Burnaby. The sister locations—a funeral home with an on-site crematorium and cemetery—make planning a funeral, cremation and burial convenient.
Had occasion to visit here; took some time to stop, look around, and meditate. Grounds well mowed, and leaves raked. Driveways clear of litter. Parking spaces well marked, windows on buildings all clean. Walk a few paces, it is so quiet it is like having the whole world to yourself.

The Chinese cemetery at Harling Point had its roots in the negative attitudes to East Asians that prevailed in Victoria and British Columbia until the second half of the twentieth century. The location, overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, is superb, however, and the site is very peaceful, as it should be. Nearby is the famous Harpoon Rock, a glacial erratic at the edge of the war, which is a notable sign of the glaciation of the last Ice Age. Visit the cemetery: you won’t regret the time you will spend there.
