Attended two shows here - Trumpton and Al Murray - both during COVID restrictions and the venue was great and staff/volunteers went above and beyond. Both very different experiences as the first one was a nice sunny afternoon and the second one it thrashed it with rain (well done to Al Murray for carrying on :-) ) but both were good experiences 100% will be returning for other shows

Drink beer, watch sport and eat pies downstairs in our friendly community sports pub only two minutes from Brighton station. With six screens, we've got all the TV sports you could possibly want plus darts, pool table, board games and beer garden. Upstairs at Sweet @ The Welly, our new performance space has some of the best stand-up comedy and fringe theatre from Brighton and beyond!
Popped in for a drink while waiting for a train. I was going to have a beer and then saw that there was a well-priced tawny port on offer- very tasty. The barmaid was friendly and the general atmosphere was nice, especially with a few regulars in.

We look forward to welcoming you soon! Team TOM
We went to see a comedian at the venue and were impressed at the size. It is very small and intimate which made it ideal as a comedy venue. Would definitely go again.

Brighton Dome is Brighton's premier venue for top quality music, theatre, family friendly events, dance, performance, conference and venue hire. No trip to Brighton is complete without experiencing at least one of the many great shows on offer.
I recently saw Jimmy Carr here, & I have only seen comedy acts here, never a band. Much, much nicer than the larger Brighton Centre, this 2000 seater venue manages to have an intimate atmosphere despite it's size. I'm not sure there is really a bad seat in the house, I've sat upstairs & downstairs & always had a clear view, & the sound is good too. The staff are relaxed & friendly, & are happy to allow smokers to nip outside in the interval (unlike the awful o2 in London which refuses to let you out once you're inside). The beer on sale wasn't wonderful, but was still at (London) pub prices rather than the rip-off prices at London's o2 Arena. They definitely need more toilets though - it's the only concert venue I have ever been to where the queue for the Gents was longer than that for the Ladies. Strange.

Arts and entertainment festival venue. A festival in one place with cabaret, circus, music and performance from all around the world. The definition of pop-up we're only here for a month and then gone for another year...
