More than 43,000 acres of protected and managed coastal habitats for migratory birds.
What a pleasant, well maintained, place to get away from the hustle bustle!
Just outside of Atlantic City. Trails are very well marked. Beautiful Holly trees, Pines and the skyline of AC are just some of the highlights.
If hiking isn't your thing you can do the bird watching drive.

Nice place to take a stroll and pick up some local product, food, veggies, some crafts. Not bad to park, but to drive through the street being one lane due to parking can be difficult. Saw 2 cars head to head, and neither would move, yelling at each other. Funny scene.

This high-energy casino offers a range of table games and daily poker tournaments. Their modern slot machines feature a rapid-pay ticket system so gamblers don't have to deal with carrying around coins.
I prefer to be on the Boardwalk, but you can't beat the upscale modern decor, service, restaurants and amenities of the Borgata.

Love, love, love Brigantine Beach! It is wide, spacious and great for mile long walks along the beach. It is a family beach; kids have a great time playing in the sand and water. Dolphins swim off shore. It is away from the chaos of Atlantic City but a quick ride over the bridge f you feel the urge for a boardwalk or casino.

New Jersey's tallest lighthouse awaits you at Pacific and Rhode Island Avenues in Atlantic City (walking distance from Showboat Casino). Take an amazing journey into time and above it all as you ascend the 228 steps of the Absecon Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the country. You'll see breathtaking views of the Atlantic City skyline and up top you'll come face-to-face with the original first-order Fresnel Lens, first lit in 1857.The lighthouse's recent multi-million dollar restoration also includes a stunning replica of the Lightkeeper's dwelling, an educational museum, charming gift shop, Fresnel Lens exhibit in the original Oil House and expansive grounds. The Absecon Lighthouse is on both the New Jersey and National Registries of Historic Places.
We loved climbing over 200 steps to the top. This was one of the high lights of our trips since we have never been inside of a lighthouse before. Definitely a must do excursion to in Atlantic city.

Visiting the stranding center with no expectations whatsoever, we found a lovely gem. There was no entry fee and yet we were treated to wonderful descriptions of a wide variety of sea life thanks to a knowledgable intern. After exploring the small collection in the building, he spent time explaining the different creatures in the tank outside.
We were so pleased that we left a donation and made some purchases to support the center.

With sea breezes, water hazards, and carefully placed concave bunkers, this 18-hole, par 72 course provides an exciting experience for golfers of all skill levels.Inside the Links at Brigantine Beach Clubhouse, you will find an American style restaurant and sports bar named The Links Bar & Grille. Enjoy made to order breakfast and lunch favorites, along with your favorite libations at our full liquor bar. The Brigantine restaurant is a favorite with both golfers and visitors.
Love the menu, food and service at the new restaurant. It is refreshing, delicious and well presented. The servers are terrific. The signature drinks are good too.
