Central city square with a Austro-Hungarian architecture from the end of the 19th century.
Build in 19th century by local citizen named Hadži Paša Mujanović. It is also known as Wooden mosque, because all others were built with a stone.
Bijela džamija (White mosque) is city's largest mosque and one of the oldest. It was destroyed in 1992. in Bosnian war by Serb forces and rebuilt later but in totally different style with more modernistic features. Interior side of dome is very unusual and reminds of inverted boat. Mosque is surrounded by small park with some nice trees and flowers.
