I had my first hiking experience with their help. We have visited a place near Brașov that took my breath away. They made me feel like I was part of the team and made everything feel super easy. I was a bit scared about snakes and bears but I knew I'll be protected in case of anything. This is the first day after the experience but I already look for the following one. They are professional, super friendly and, most of all, interesting people from which you feel that you can learn a lot of things. I truly appreciate and recommend them.

Excellent from the start. Picked up from the hotel by our guide Ivan. He was very knowledgeable about local history, we passed the bran castle which we visited the previous day, Ivan had lots of interesting information as we traveled into the mountain. We set off on the horse's up the mountain for a couple of hours, really nice scenery. Some parts quite steep, but the horses coped no problem. Arrived at a bit overlooking other mountains that still had snow on. Really good crowd. The local horse guide then made a fire and made a local lunch, lots to eat and very tasty. After eating and horses rested on to the return trip. Went back a different way, varied trails across fields, thru wooded areas, down steep paths. The local guide made it an interesting ride. Ivan was very good at translating and the whole day was very enjoyable. Ivan took lots of photos which he sent to us the next day. A 5* service, would recommend and use Dans tours and Ivan again

Fringed by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains and resplendent with gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical attractions, Brasov is one of the most visited places in Romania. The location of the city at the intersection of trade routes linking the Ottoman Empire and western Europe, together with certain tax exemptions, allowed Saxon merchants to obtain considerable wealth and exert a strong political influence in the region. This was reflected in the city's German name, Kronstadt, as well as in its Latin name, Corona, meaning Crown City (hence, the coat of arms of the city which is a crown with oak roots). Fortifications were erected around the city and continually expanded, with several towers maintained by different craft guilds, according to medieval custom.

This was one freakin amazing experience! We drove with Octavian on Mount Postavaru. A million dollar view. On the way down we did some wild downhill. I did 60 km/h. 60!!! Trully, the best experience in Brasov. The bikes are really cool. Very powerful motors. Thank you, Octavian!

PRIVATE TOUR One of the most imposing historical monuments of Romania is in Bran-Rucar Pass. Bran Castle is located about 30 km away from the city of Braşov, on the road that goes through the old Bartolomeu neighborhood and connects Braşov to Campulung Muscel, the first capital of Wallachia, where the Piatra Craiului Mountains meet with the Bucegi Mountains. Built on a cliff, the castle now houses the Bran museum, a museum that spans its four floors. And although foreign tourists come annually in search of Count Dracula's legend, and the guide emphasizes his mythical side, the history of Bran Castle fascinates them alike. This is a private tour you can customize your visit time at each stop and you can request any visit to nearby points of interest
Inclusions: Certified guide , Private transportation, WiFi on board, Air-conditioned vehicle
Exclusions: entrance fee

If not we will take you inside his crib and show you how a real vampire lives. Spooky huh? Do you want to find out the truth behind Dracula? The Bran Castle is the place where his legend is kept alive all year round. It’s the most famous Castle in Transylvania and waits for you to visit it. It’s believed to have belonged to Vlad the Impaler, the real ruler behind the name of “Dracula”. But what is a myth, and which one is the truth? You can find out if you choose to take this private tour. The second part of the trip is dedicated to the outdoors. We will visit Pestera, a timeless place. A village surrounded by the most magnificent mountains you will ever see. A place where the locals still live like tenths of years ago. A place barely touched by technology. An opportunity for you to taste the traditional meals, all prepared from purely natural ingredients. Are you going to choose this experience?

I got picked up in the morning from my hotel which was very convenient. The time spent on the road was around 1 hour or so, parked the car and immediately started climbing. It was difficult at first. I was lucky to be travelling alone. I know most of my friends are not hiking lovers. The rather steep climb ended rapidly, and I felt I could breathe again. Now that I think about it, it wasn’t that steep anyway! There were other tourists on the path so I think that this is a popular trail. Soon enough we reached the Curmatura Cabin. Ramona was very nice and explained everything I wanted to know. Honestly, I don’t know how she could talk and hike at the same time! But I think she’s been born and raised in the woods so that explains a lot :)) The food from the cabin was tasty, specially the homemade pies! You don’t want to miss that. They also had a huge dog and a big, orange cat, which were both very calm and friendly and demanded that we fed them. On the way back, we passed through a Canyon, I believe it was the Zarnesti Canyon. A place where nature was indeed extremely generous and created a timeless beauty. All in all, the hike was very pleasant and I can’t wait to be able to travel again! A big hello to you Ramona and keep up the good work, I love what you do and how you bring the beauty closer to people’s lives.

This day will be a mixture of hiking and getting to know more about Brasov while we are on the move. It’s not a standard cultural tour, or just a plain hiking tour. It will be a great, active day and you will enjoy it. Beautiful forests, nice views from the top of Tampa mountain, a great walk along the old city. Upon request we can take the lunch at a local restaurant (the meal is not included in the price of the trip). Easy 2 – 3 hours trail, 600-700 m elevation height, on wide paths with no exposure or dangerous cliffs. This trip is suitable for families and any other groups of people that can walk slowly on various terrain structures for about 2 -3 hours Mandatory gear: Light hiking shoes, clothes that suit the outside weather and a rain coat.
Inclusions: Authorized tour guide, Authorized mountain guide
Exclusions: Food and drinks , Hiking Gear (Costumers should bring hiking shoes, appropriate clothes, weather and a rain coat).

This is a very rich tour exploring the medieval areas of Transylvania. You’ll have the chance to discover the history behind three of the most visited and appreciated fortified churches and citadels in the heart of Romania. The first stop is at Prejmer, which seems to be more of a fortified small town, rather than just a fortified church. You’ll have the chance to admire a unique courtyard and let yourself impressed by the creativity of it’s medieval touches. The second stop is the Fortified Church in Harman. Back then, this church was more than just a place people would go to pray in. It was also used as a refuge for people in need. Next is the Rasnov Citadel. It’s a very impressive Citadel build on top of a hill. It’s main purpose used to be of defense. We end the day with a lovely walk around the most well-known ski resort in Romania: Poiana Brasov. This is a place worth visiting no matter the season. It’s also a chance for you to get to know a different part of Romania.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle, Authorized tour guide, Guaranteed to skip the lines, This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
Exclusions: Food and drinks , Entry/Admission tickets- about 40 lei total price tickets for the 3 locations/per person

Take this unique private tour in one of the world’s best kept secrets: the Viscri Village. It’s considered a UNESCO monument, and even Prince Charles has bought a house here. It’s houses are colored in blue and white, and it’s fortified Church watches over the village. It’s a place where time seems to have stopped. In the second part of the trip, we are heading to the heart of Sighisoara, the last inhabited Citadel of Europe. Take a walk on it’s cobbled streets, narrow paths and colorful houses. The Old Town Square is an area protected by UNESCO. It’s medieval architecture comes from the Saxon people, who came here in the 1100s. They also built many mighty towers, each named after one of their guilds. If you love the medieval history and are passionate about finding out more, Sighisoara is the best place for you. It’s also the birth place of Dracula, also known as Vlad the Impaler.
