We had a fantastic experience throughout the year on the Explorers course. Me and Jack (11 years old) learnt so much about fire lighting, cutting, net making and lots more - with wonderful instruction from Ray, come rain or shine. We highly recommend this course.

Brandon Country Park is located in the very heart of Thetford Forest. Surrounded by acres of pure forest, we have miles of walking and nature trails, cycle routes, a lake, lawns, historic arboretum, Walled Garden, Visitor Centre and the Copper Beech Tearoom with our homemade cakes and soups.
lovely place to walk the dogs with a friend. Interesting old chapel in the grounds plus a pond too. Lovely tearoom where you can buy food as well if you wish.

Loads of car park spaces, clear signage, great amenities, cafe etc. Kids have plenty of options to decide on from the various play areas, activities and trails. Eriswell Lodge opened its doors in April 2015, under the new ownership of Stuart & Nigel Smith. Since then extensive work has been completed to create a brilliant shooting facility, with a new 2-storey clubhouse currently being built which will have function rooms, a large café & a shop available. Eriswell Lodge offers a wide range of clay shooting disciplines. With 24 sporting stands, 4 skeet fields, 2 ABT fields, 3 DTL fields and a sportrap available there is plenty for shooters to use. Our reception area can be found in our on-site shop which stocks a range of country clothing and shooting accessories. We also stock cartridges from Hull Cartridge, Lyalvale Express, and Gamebore. We also have a cafe on site offering a wide range of hot & cold food & drinks. We offer have-a-go sessions for beginners, and tuition abilities and disciplines. Our fully qualified instructors will get you smashing clays in no time! We look forward to welcoming you to Eriswell Lodge soon!
I did a Ladies day here in February 2019, with Tosh as my instructor. This was only my second time shooting, and my First Ladies here. The weather was horrendous but Tosh’s enthusiasm and passion for the sport, had me hooked; so much so I’ve since returned for more lessons with him, as well as ladies days (when it has to be said; I shoot worse if it’s not Tosh whose the groups instructor) Last lesson with him; I’d totally lost my confidence and was struggling and told him so; so we went back to basics and got my brain back into it with some gentle teasing/banter from Tosh. Tosh has a heart of gold, and a real passion and knowledge for the sport. He will always have your best interest at heart, and knows how to tease me out of a having a ‘I can’t do this’ moment. Love Eriswell and the whole team; just a shame your so far away from me!

The Centre will re open for 2019 at Easter. In the beginning … Brandon is full of history. Probably most famous of all is the Brandon people’s relationship with the environment around the town, namely flints and fur. More so in Brandon than any other town. So it made sense to have a central location in town to display, inspire and engage with the community about the town’s Heritage

We always treat ourselves to a twilight spa and the three hours go so quickly! Lovely and relaxing, pool a little warmer than last year but really could be so much warmer. Lots of seating and relaxing music. Actually able to sit in the gardens this year as it was so warm.

This is my fifth visit to Center Parcs. This time as a group of adults sharing three exclusive lodges. Another brilliant holiday with so much to see and do. The wildlife was amazing. We had squirrels, ducks, deer eating out of our hands! Center Parcs was so clean and well looke after.
