Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

I visited Attaboy with 4 other friends on a Sunday evening and it was about a 45 minute wait. It was tricky to find the entrance but that is the point of a speakeasy! It’s not fun if everyone can find it! You can hear the music behind the door which helped us know where to knock. The doorman was very friendly as was the bartender. It’s small and cozy inside. There is no menu and the mixologist/bartender makes drinks based on asking you a few questions. They really care to make you something you will love. We had two rounds and all 10 drinks were outstanding and perfect for each of us (and we are all very different!). It was a really fun night and I would return if ever in NYC again.

This place is not for everyone, let's get that out of the way. You've got to be really open to the experience offered by The Box. If you're easily offended, stay away. But if you're looking for something wild, something uninhibited, something rowdy, then if you can get in, you'll find that something here. We stumbled on The Box just last Saturday (6.15.2019) looking for an after-hours club after listening to some great jazz at Dizzy's. The line was long, and we were informed by the Doorman that it was invitation only (and by that I mean you can stand in line and hope to be invited in, or end up sorely disappointed). We had been in line maybe a minute and were ushered inside. Holy Mary Mother of God. I will condense by saying we had a blast. The staff was friendly, the performers were approachable and good people, the crowd was up and everyone was having the time of their lives. I should also add the drinks were potent. I'm a G&T guy, and they don't hold back on the G. I don't have a lot of experience with clubs like The Box, but after Saturday night, I'm sold.

Technology and socializing are at the heart of Remote's appeal. This trendy bar has cameras positioned throughout the club -- through remote control consoles (built into tables) patrons can peak at people anywhere in the bar.
