Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Thursday 20th Sept myself and my wonderful partner Steve, decided we go to the cinema. Bh2 Odeon is situated opposite the Moon in the Square weatherspoon pub, and the main market square of Bournemouth. Also adjacent are the beautiful gardens where, when the weather is nice, you can follow either the upper or the flatter lower gardens path that take you to Bournemouth sea front and further attractions, like the big wheel and oceanarium to name a few. If you have read any of my other reviews of Bournemouth attractions and sites you will know I'm in a wheelchair, which is one of the reasons I write reviews for trip advisor, as there aren't enough for us wheelchair users. Enough said let's get back to the review. The complex is new with ramp and step access. Along the ramp way there is yet more eateries to entice you in either before or after you film. Frankie and Bennys to name just one, also a vegan restaurant which I was surprised yet happy to see. (Its nice to see such food diversity finally arriving!). The ramp in a gentle incline which will not test the might of Hercules if you are in a manual wheelchair. The entrance and hallway of the cinema are clean an inviting. Lovely calming lights guide you to more eateries, coffee shop, and cinema snack vendors should you wish to indulge. These are at the usual slightly over priced rate, but hey!!!! It's a treat. There are self service ticket machines located on the left hand side of the building where, if you've ordered your tickets online you just put your card you used to purchase them with into the machine and hey presto! Out the tickets come. For a popular movie , to avoid lengthy waits this is ideal. All the screens are located on the upper floor. Access for me is via a lift. The staff were very helpful as to where we had to go. Still in ore of how calming the whole building was. Plenty of toilets for both genders and disabled, which I may add, are very roomy. Spaces in the screens are plentiful, the seating ranging from delux to standard, (plenty of leg room in these for the taller gentlemen) with so much room for wheelchair users. This cinema is a modern up to date place where I'm sure you will enjoy your experience. (Ps I must commend the staff for their professional manner in which they guided myself and other disabled persons from the building when we had to evacuate. WELL DONE ODEON STAFF).

This has been long awaited for. Love the new Odeon and the new complex. Lovely for both locals and visitors alike. A very enjoyable experience everytime. A nice addition to the town centre. Looks good and all the food options under one roof is very convenient. Bournemouth sure is becoming the place to be come Christmas with the new BH2 complex, the Alpine Christmas Market, Ice skating, The Bournemouth Eye, Coca Cola Truck etc...
