We booked ahead and received a great welcome. They have four wines to taste in this family run vineyard, which is well worth a visit for the views, wine and general experience. Thanks for a great tasting team Luddite!

My wife and I were warmly welcomed by young Theo when we arrived. She took the time to show us around the Deli where all the magic happens. Nadia introduced us to a large variety of mouth-watering frozen meals and even desserts which you can enjoy at home too. We ordered some coffee and headed for the Tasting Room where we started with some lovely Chenin Blanc. Our friendly and accommodating host, Lynn, did a stirling job introducing us to the selection of wines on offer. We ended up ordering some breakfast "snacks" from their "Zest" restaurant to go with the wine. This included a Smoked Salmon Bagel, a Gruyere, Thyme & Onion Confit Tart and then some Buttermilk Pancakes. The wonderfully delicious meals were served promptly and beautifully prepared right there in the comfortable Tasting Room. All things considered, we had a relatively brief but most enjoyable visit to Beaumont Wines! Friendly people and delicious food in a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

Gabrielskloof is a new and exciting winery situated on the N2, between Botriver and Caledon. We are the latest addition to the Botriver wine ward, and since opening our doors to the public in August 2009, we have hosted some exciting events, including quarterly food and wine pairings. Gabrielskloof offers the visitor a spectacular cellar experience, tasting room, restaurant and deli with 360 degree overberg views. Come and sample our superb wines, home grown olive oils, and wholesome local country fare.
Beautiful tranquil setting. Makes you want to spend hours there. Tasting went very well. The owner popped by for a chat which was great. I will return for the food. The wine speaks for itself and the olives and olive oil is great. Unfortunately their Madame Lucy MCC is not available for tasting, having tried it before, I left with a few bottles.
