A technical easy mountain over 6000m's, a good climb for beginners. Great for a first big mountain experience with great views of the Cordillera Real and mountains near La Paz. physically demanding, some acclimatization is need before attempting this trip.
Highly recommend German Mountain Guide for trekking tours to Huayna Potosí. I have just returned from a fantastic 3 day trek with our guides German and Super Mario. It was a pleasure to deal with both of them at all times, their guidance during the treks was second to none, the equipment was good, the price was competitive and the food was plentiful. Our group of 3 successfully reached the summit for sunrise and it was an absolutely amazing experience that was definitely enhanced by the service we received from German Mountain Guide.

Atractivo natural, 5030 m.s.n.m. trekking accesible. La vista desde el pico es imponente ya que al pie se encuentra el eje metropolitano de Quillacollo-Cochabamba-Sacaba
Awesome adventure for nature lovers, impressive view of the valley of Cochabamba, bunch of llamas, even saw a Viscacha. 1:30 hrs car ride to the mountain, but great views and nothing too dangerous. Started our hike at 4,500m. of altitude, it lead us through a majestic landscape of mountains and crystal clear mountain lakes, until we reached the top of the Pico Tunari (5,035m) from where we got an spectacular view over the Cordillera Tunari mountain range and the entire valley of Cochabamba. altitude can be a problem and really easy to get lost, go with someone who knows the hike, i went with an agency called Chullo Adventour, great guys which i had a very good time, absolutely recommend it.

Such a beautiful, magical place! There is so much to see here. It's not just a pretty view on your way to Coroico. There are many pieces of art scattered around the mountains that you can go around and explore. There's so little info about the statues online, but at least some of them were made by Bolivian-Swiss artist Francine Secretan. There are few signs and not much information provided, so you just have to go around exploring yourself. It's super cold though, so dress appropriately.
Carolina (Cordon Bleu chef) and Myself lived abroad (New york and Paris) let us show why we left the best cities and choose La Paz. We'll explain some history of bolivian pastries and talk about paceno culture. We will start the class in the bronce decorated kitchen. Jawa, Llaucha, Pastel frito, Cunape and sonso with Api or Tojori and enjoy together. (speak french too)
