Its landscape-erosion of about 2 billion years (2*10^6) is U N I Q U E ! and as such a unique experience. Fauna and flora is endemic, on a small scale, no dinosaurs.
Easy access over land. Any other Table Mountain needs expedition type of travelling. Somewhat negative is the exorbitant rate of the obrigatory guides, and you see only tourists en route. Most of the year the Mountains is hidden within clouds.
There are all inclusive guides at your choice (Food, tent, carriers ...), but be aware, check others and talk to fellow-travellers.

This is a wonderful place to be at night in town, as there are may restaurants and bars around. Unfortunately the town government seems to have abandoned this beautiful post card, as its tile flooring is very damaged everywhere, the water Fountain does not work, most of the lamp posts are broken and the toillets, rotten. It is very sad to see the old photos of the place when the monument was built and to compare to what it is now. The mayor should be prosecuted for having let down such a lovely public place.

Water park in the midst of nature, located 34 km from the capital Boa Vista. It has several attractions for adults and children. It has parking, restaurant, convenience store, shallow pool for infants and toddlers, water park for children, wet bar, huts to spend the day, lake with boats and kayaks, river with rapids and ramp with buoys. All for a day of leisure and fun with family and friends.

This riverside place is a marvelous spot to stay quietly watching the brown water of the rio branco to flow strongly. It was closed in December to be reformed and improved. We do hope the local government really accomplish its promise to make it a much better place to the locals and tourists.

I only saw this beautiful structure from outside. Nobody was around to even ask if one can enter the place. But, it was a beautiful architecture that stood out in the city. Considering everything was spacious in the city, this church was unique in that it was small and very colorful.

Being a planned modern city, the Centro Civico square, in Boa Vista, is the heart of the place, as you can find there many everage in size public buildings, constructed in a very interesting modern architcture style, forming a magnificent set. It is truly one of the most beautiful complex of public buildings of all the northern new capitals.

Não chega a ser um ponto turístico, mas é um bom espaço de lazer para a vizinhança, com opções para todas as idades. Ficou muito bom após a reforma,

In North America, during colonization the Europeans killed and otherwise abused Native Americans. In Brazil, the Portuguese colonization was more peaceful and friendly. As a result, in the Amazon basin some Indian tribes still live in the bronze age and walk around naked. To me, this monument is a symbol of the nonviolent character of the Portuguese colonization. Look at those Europeans and Indians standing peacefully side by side and don't try to spot famous faces.
Also remember that, even though Boa Vista is a capital of a state, it is a small provincial city that lives mainly off the federal budget.

This monument is part of the Centro Civico, what makes it short in comparison to the other buildings around it. It is true that is very charming, but it should be more magnificent if the government did not have saved up money with its poor decorating material.

It's very popular, so it's crowded in the dry season ( There are very few Beaches in the rainy season). It's somewhat distant, so a little bit dificult to get to if you don't have your own transport (Not everybody pays the exorbitant expensive taxis around here)
