What to do and see in Blue Mountains, New South Wales: The Best Fun Activities & Games

December 14, 2021 Jeremy Dunfee

The Blue Mountains are named for the delicate azure haze that lingers along the region, which is actually a fine cloud of oil emitted by eucalyptus trees. The mystical mountains are a labyrinth of plateaus, gorges and gum trees. Check out the Katoomba Scenic Railway (the steepest railway in the world), the Jenolan Caves and the Giant Staircase nature walk.

Glenbrook Cinema has maintained what was the typical cinematic experience of the past. It’s a single screen cinema with a candy bar and a staff who care. Picture and sound quality are up to date as are the films shown. In a world of multiplexes and personal screens it is refreshing to watch a movie hear at a great price with a chock top
