Allan Scott is one of the true pioneers and a name synonymous with New Zealand’s acclaimed Marlborough region, having been involved with the planting of the region’s first vineyard in 1973. In June 2011 he was awarded with a Queens Birthday honour for services to the New Zealand wine industry. Allan along with wife Catherine founded the Allan Scott Family Winemakers label in 1990 and quickly became a household brand name in the highly competitive wine industry. Today Allan, Catherine and entire family of Victoria, Joshua and Sara head up the production marketing and management of the company with a highly skilled operational team.
