Best kept secret in Blairsville, GA!! Sundance Gallery is a charming little gallery/gift store, that's a little "off the beaten path", offering unique and interesting items made by American artists and craftsmen. It's a hidden gem in the country (about 7 miles south of the Blairsville Town Square), with a HUGE selection of pottery from all over the United States, but also features the works of local and regional artists and craftsmen. Come see a variety of finely crafted pottery, glass art, woodcraft, home decor items and much more.
Sundance Gallery and Gift is hands down one of my favorite places to visit in N. GA. From Gordy the shop dog to the beautiful local gifts and pottery to just the genuinely kind shop owner Julie, this place is a feast for the eyes and a respite for the soul.

Sunrise Grocery is the oldest business in Union County in its original location. We like to stay local and carry all kinds of Appalachian goods. We have jams n jellies, honey n syrup, soaps, pottery, ethanol free fuel, firewood, and hand knitted items.
Peanuts being boiled outside. Staff are very welcoming. The store is large with unique gifts. There are framed prints from a local artist. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Ok folks. This is a true Country Store in rural North Georgia in the mountains. I loved it! This is not Bloomingdales. It was chocked full of yummy jams, preserves, jellies, and all kind of miscellaneous items. It was a true country store. Everything we bought was great to eat. Home made stuff not from big chains. I cant' wait to go back!

Sleepy Hollow was created 12 years ago by Art Millican Jr. Art is a former Disney artist/Imagineer and was Senior Artist and Craftsman at Disney World Orlando for over 15 years. He has worked on theme parks in every corner of the globe. He helped his friend Michael Jackson build Neverland Ranch as well as helping build parts of Dollywood and Six Flags. Arts work can be seen not just at Disney World but at theme parks all over the world. He single handedly makes every fairy house from beginning to end. The process can take up to 2 weeks to complete and he signs every one. He still works with different parks on occasion but still keeps up on the supply of fairy houses. **We have been forced to close our business permanently due to eminent domain (11/28/20). He will continue to build once he reestablishes his workshop at a new location. So follow us at facebook.com/sleepyhollowent and watch his progress and get one of your very own, one of a kind, masterpieces.
There is a small shop with lawn ornaments and fairy garden accessories, reasonably priced. The treehouses are free to peruse with an optional donation. My 4 and 5 year olds ran from one house to the next for about an hour. When it was time to go, they both cried and we promised to bring them back another day. This is a great free activity!

Mountain Crossings is a full service outfitter, gift shop and hostel in a historic stone building located at mile thirty of the Appalachian Trail! It's the only place on the Appalachian Trail that goes through a building. Great views, great hiking and great atmosphere! Come check out our tree full of boots out front.
A perfectly wonderful, super exciting store for every hiking need. Great clothes, amazing boots, super warm socks, and groovy little gifts for everyone. Everything hiking related is here including the most knowledgeable shoe man I’ve ever met. Enthusiastic shoe professional, Bill, fitted us with the most incredible hiking boots ever. Two thorough days of hiking the Appalachian trail later and they’re still the bomb! He even showed us a new way to tie them, which made every difference to me. No more untied laces right in the middle of an important moment. You can’t miss Bill. Super long beard and a colorful wool cap. Seek him out. He will hook you up! This store rocks on every account. ( Incidentally, it’s made of rocks too.) Happy hiking!
