Bisbee has declined in size and vigor from its glory days as a thriving silver and copper mining town, but the decrease in population has not robbed the vitality from this historic center. A haven to artists, retirees and history buffs, Bisbee astounds visitors with vibrantly colored rock faces and picturesque houses hugging the edges of cliffs. Its history can be discovered in its numerous museums, historic staircases and a mine tour that leads deep into one of the remaining caverns.

Our guide was outstanding, and there is an exhibit on the important changes of mining drills which made the holes for dynamite. Remember, the temperature down in the shafts are 50-60, so wear long sleeve. The price is well worth it, and you'll learn about the men and the equipment that made Arizona.

An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, this small rural museum chronicles the history of the historic mining town of Bisbee through a rich display of artifacts, photographs and interesting displays.
We spent about 90 minutes touring the museum. They have lots of cool displays and things to see. Not really a place that kids would like, but we did.

Make sure to stop into this great place. Friendly staff, great beer and exactly the place we like to stop. Small but welcoming. Try the taster tray and then pick your favorite (mine was the copper amber ale). Minimal food available but there are many other choices for lunch and dinner within walking distance. Give it a try!

We quite by accident missed the turn for the Queen Mine but were glad we did when we came upon the Lavender pit! Very impressive with informative plaques to read!

I started my visit here which is also the starting point for the Queen Mine tour. Loads of information on mining. It has lots of brochures for the area and a great gift shop.

Belleza Fine Art Gallery has 26 artists from all over the world. We are also associated with the Renaissance House, a nonprofit treatment center for homeless women and their children. We sell their handmade extraordinary adirondack furniture for them and have a computer lab located in Belleza where they learn computer skills. We offer you fresh chocolate chip cookies all day, every day (for the last 15 years). But more importantly we strive to welcome and honor you, whether you make a purchase or not.
Amazing gallery! Including Lou's paintings and most proceeds go to a great cause! A must go to place

This is a really wonderful, and very unusual, building which dates back to the end of the 19th century. The architectural style, with open galleries all around it, both on the first floor and the second floor, is simply amazing. The interior is also fantastic with the post office and the library.

We had a wonderful tour of this historic residence. Enjoyed our guide and was fascinated by the home. If you're into this type of thing you won't be disappointed.

The docent was a lovely informative lady. The items on display were one of a kind. The toasters in the front window were a surprising favorite of mine. Neat old building, used to be a high end dept store.
