The inner sanctum of The Maha bodhi stupa is surreal.Once can just meditate there for hours even though so many people are doing their rounds of the stupa.Just to be in the very place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment is enough to make it even more special. The evening times were even more beautiful with the colorful lights on the stupa and the chanting of prayers. One can just get lost in time here with no thoughts and that is precious. The only thing which can be changed is the guards whistle, which they blow to let people know that the timing of closing down the area is at hand.It is really disturbing and destroys the peace of the sanctum.

Tucked away in a hidden gateway to remote and rural Bihar, the temple site is ideal to experience positive energy by people for all faith. Archaeological Survey of India has taken immense interest in the sculptors in temple. There is unique Peepal tree with its branches bending toward the temple. The temple houses Shahastralinga with around 1,008 miniature Shivlingas

Steep Ascent in a single air scary Ropeway was quite an experience. Initially, we were scared but soon started enjoying it. Reaching the Buddha stupa and the surrounding view was really great. The dome has glistening golden statues on all the four sides and there is a beautiful monastery cum museum adjacent to it. Worth the visit and the enthralling experience.

WellWalking distance from Patna junction railway station and the hustle bustle around it. The verandah offers ample space for people to rest/meditate. This elevates the experience of visiting this temple. If you are at Patna, do pay a visit. The Mahavir Mandir Trusts have the second highest budget in North India after the famous Maa Vaishno Devi shrine. This temple is different from the rest if the Hanuman temple because if two statue of Hanuman ji
