A fully supported teahouse based trek to the sacred lakes of Gosainkund in the Helambu region. Although only a day's drive from Kathmandu, this region is relatively isolated and predominantly inhabited by the Tamangs and Helambu Sherpas, who originated in Tibet just to the north. A highlight of our trek is a visit to Kyanjin Gompa (3800m), a Buddhist monastery in a spectacular sub-alpine setting. From Kyanjin we traverse several passes that afford impressive views enroute to the sacred lakes of Gosainkunda. A trek in this region affords brilliant views of the mighty peaks of Langtang (7234m) and Ganesh (7446m), as well as a sprawl of endless 6000m+ summits. Langtang offers stunning views, inspiring high altitude lakes and the opportunity for authentic cultural interaction in a less traveled region of the Himalaya.

We have booked Annapurna Circuit Trek with Peregrine Treks. After we landed in Kathmandu, Peregrine Treks escorted us to the Samsara Resort -- Thamel, Kathmandu, which was very good. For our trek, Peregrine Treks provided us Sonam as a guide and Krishna and Lyalu as a porter. They were friendly, helpful, experienced as well as caring. Sonam tried his 200% to keep us safe from any sickness. The food, accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara, people, nature, and culture were very memorable. I am glad to choose Nepal and Peregrine Treks.
Lumba Sumba Peak Climb The remote Lumba Sumba Peak lies between the massifs of Makalu and Kangchenjunga, with Lumba Sumba Peak situated just south of a recently developed trekking route connecting Taplejung and the Tamur River Valley in the east to the Arun Valley in the west. The high point of this trek is the Lumba Sumba Pass, just to the north of Lumba Sumba Peak, which itself is the most easterly and lowest of a collection of three peaks, In 2014 Bespoken Himalayan Treks organized first expedition to Lumba Sumba Peak and for the first time five British has ascent the peak on 22nd April 2014, As it remains unclimbed until this date, we are the only company that offers this expedition. Langtang Helambu trekking is easy level trekking. It makes a loop through the Sherpa-populated Helambu region is located to north-east of Kathmandu. Our trek in Kathmandu starts from a place called Sundarijal after about 2 hours of drive from Kathmandu. Sundarijal is a beautiful place with waterfall and an old dam from where hydro-electricity is produced. Then we make our way towards the Shivapuri National Park after getting the permit at the checkpoint. The trail is beautiful filled with verdant forests, streams, and the ecosystem of different flora and fauna. Several mountain ranges of Nepal can also be seen during this trail. Some of the popular ones are Mt. Manaslu (8167m), Lantang ri (7,000), Gauri Shanker (6580m), and also some ranges of the Everest zone. The main destinations during this trekking are Chisapani (2,100m), Nagarkot (2,175m), and the Changu Narayan Temple which is also one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Nepal.
Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes, Private transportation, Bottled water
Exclusions: Lunch, Dinner
We had a super time in Everest Base Camp last year. Trekking to this place was dream for many years which come true with the help CoreTreks and team members.
Bardia National Park is like a box of chocolate that offers full of surprises. Unspoiled nature, rare wild animals, authentic Tharu culture and little adventures never fail to amaze you. Unlike Chitwan National Park, Bardia is yet to commercialize. Choose Bardia National Park Tour and venture into the forest or canoe down the river, you will hardly spot another human. Bardia National Park is the largest national park in the Terai, a beautiful, unspoiled wilderness of sal forest, grassland and alluvial washes cut by the many fingers of the Karnali River. Largely unpopulated, it is often described as what Chitwan National Park was like 30 years ago, before its commercial development. One can raft through the park for hours on end and not encounter another person.
Inclusions: Breakfast, Breakfast, Lunch, Lunch, Dinner, National Park Entry Fee, Tharu Cultural performance , Fluent English speaking guide
Exclusions: International Flight, Personal Expenses ( such as laundry, beverage etc. )
I went to visit Nepal for a vacation, and joined the Icicles Day Tours, this is the best trekking tour i've ever had in my entire life. It was never boring, and never felt tired. I was never alone and everyone was so nice and accomodating. Highly recommended. Thumbs Up. ????
The Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking is a great way to get yourself close to the mountains while still staying relatively close to the capital. It is an ideal trekking option for travellers who would love to rejoice in the natural beauty of the environment close to the city without having to travel long distances. This Hiking is a great way to get away from the chaos of the bustling city and to immerse yourself in the serenity of the natural environment. The changing of the urban setting into a natural one with forests, hills and waterfalls as one gets farther away from Kathmandu is a compelling way to enjoy the country’s diverse terrain in a relatively close-knit parameter. Walk along rough trails that enter through the Shivapuri National Park via a watershed and lose your worries to the sound of bird’s melodies filling up the ambience. The woodlands surrounding the hiking path offers a beautiful experience of being close to nature.
Inclusions: Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, All ground transportation by private vehicle, A night accommodation with full board meals at best available guesthouse in Chisapani, A night accommodation with full board meals at a 3-star category hotel in Nagarkot, An English speaking trekking guide including their meal, accommodation and salary, A porter to carry your luggage including their meal, accommodation and salary, Trekking permits, government taxes and office service charges
Exclusions: Meals not specified in the 'Meal Inclusions' in the itinerary, Accommodation in Kathmandu, Nepal entry visa, Tips for tour guide, trekking guide, porter and driver
