The Amish Country Theater

Great place for the whole family to enjoy. We have been there 4x this year, lynyrd, Niels, Ken, and the others are really good. You laugh so hard ( might want to bring a puppy pad) lol . Great entertainment, we always have a great time here. We always bring someone with us. We plan on coming again next year . So if you’re in Amish country, this is a must see. We have seen shakin bacon and catastrophe, would love to see the Saturday morning show with Niels , wow what more can I say, ya’ll need to come and enjoy, food is great, priced like being at the movies. Pretzels are homemade , very good at the social distancing

Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center

The cyclorama painting "Behalt" is a fascinating way to learn about the history and traditions of the Amish and Mennonite people. The attached museum/gift shop also presents other absorbing items of interest about these two groups, as well as the Hutterites. Unfortunately, because of the uncooperative weather, we were unable to do the outside part of the tour, but you can be assured that we will be going back to this one for another visit.

Ohio's largest arts and crafts mall with over 400 artisans and crafters is conveniently located in the heart of Amish Country. Sol's is made up of three large side by side buildings brimming with home decor, gifts, candy and dips, daily samples, Amish made baskets, noodles, brooms, leather, handmade wooden toys, and so much more. On site outside during the spring, summer, and fall months customers enjoy homemade ice cream, buggy rides, and fresh popped kettle corn. Open since 1993, Sol's has been called a "Must See" in Amish Country.

Trip 06/27/2019: It’s that time of year when I take my annual wine trip with friends June 25, 2019 to June 28, 2019. This year we decided to do the Erie New York wine trail, with a stopover in Cleveland Ohio and Amish country near Berlin Ohio. This review will be more than Sols’s. Park your car anywhere on the Main Street of Berlin, Ohio and spend a few hours in the numerous shops. Very interesting and enjoyable with one exception. The town is on a main thoroughfare with an unbelievable amount of truck traffic which is very loud. Now for Sol’s. Great store with some great crafts on multiple levels. Do not mis going in the basement. One is able to computer generated wood signs or purchase premise ones. I have not seen a shop with all of these possibilities. P Graham Dunn Show Room I provided an example of the available work displayed there on this post. Just Beautiful! Make sure you stop here!

Great selection of all types of fabrics and vinyls that my DW can ‘t get enough of. I do remember her saying something to the effect that “ I don’t need anymore fabric “ and here we are for the second day in a row . I am so thankful that the weather here is perfect for sitting outside . Husbands beware - you might create an obsession!
