Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

Built from 1695–99 as a summer residence for Sophie Charlotte, this palace is a stunning example of baroque architecture.
The palace is wonderful. If you have the Berlin card you have a discount for 25%. In summer you can visit all the 6 (I think )places , but in winter are open to visit only 4 of them. Inside the palace is spectacular and if you go in December in front of the palace is a Christmas market where you can drink hot wine, hot chocolate, art something good and delicious. You can feel the Christmas spirit.
