Forced my 15 year old daughter to go with me. It was incredible. By the time we entered into the "Gangland " area she was having a great time. They have everything Westerns... Elvis... Tons of presidential cars and memorabilia...a room dedicated to Abraham Lincoln... Three Batman cars... Tons of cool things from old TV show... The list goes on and on. This is a must visit. Admission was very reasonable and the area dedicated to old TV shows will bring back great memories. They have set up a wonderful fun atmosphere. Don't miss out... You'll be glad you visited.

The Beloit Farmers Market is a great way to start your weekend. Get there Saturday soon after 8 a.m. with your shopping bags. The vegetables are freshly harvested and the vendors friendly. If you're looking for a gift, there are also crafts and unique metal sculptures; also dog treats, meat, fish and garden decorations and plants. Hungry? Stop at a food truck or local bagel shop. There's more...just go and see for yourself!!

My wife and I looked at a lot of mediocre wedding venues before finding this hidden gem. Absolutely gorgeous. We got married on the grounds and had the reception immediately afterwards in the pavilion. Our guests were floored with the venue and loved every minute of it. They were not expecting to find something this incredible in an out of the way place. Tia was the venue coordinator but she might as well of been our wedding coordinator. She took care of everything. We didn't worry about a thing. This place will continue to hold a special place in our hearts and will keep coming back for years to come.

Art studio offering many options for all age groups. One-day/night workshops, ongoing art classes, and art retreats feature painting, drawing, mixed media, and lettering classes.
This is a wonderful creative Art Studio in quaint downtown Rockton, Il. The white brick building is on a corner lot with parking in front & on the side. There are a couple of steps to get into the studio. There looks to be original wood floors and has a lot of character. They offer a number of different art mediums to work with. Tabatha, the owner makes each class fun and she always is teaching you something new. I hope if you read this review you visit the studio and take at least one class. I have taken the Art Journaling class and a Painting class. My husband, who does not consider himself to be into art even joined me for a class and we had a blast.

The Beloit Snappers are a Minor League Baseball team based in Beloit, WI and are a Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics in the MiLB Midwest League. The Snappers play their home games at Pohlman Field and have been providing affordable, family entertainment to Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois since 1982.
I've been here a few times, and it is always fun. Class A affiliate of the Oakland A's. Ballpark is on the north side of town. Plenty of parking. Sometimes free. Good food. Check the schedule: some games have food and beer specials. (Miller Lite for a buck or two last year!)
Get grandstand seats -- covered from sun. But be aware that some row have poles at both ends that require you to hop over a row to get in. Not for those of us with lousy knees or a few years on us!

Coral Cove Family Fun Center is a family-friendly entertainment establishment for all ages, located in the Stateline area at the corner of Industrial Pkwy and Progressive Lane in South Beloit. Our 12,000 sq. ft. facility features arcade games, Bowlingo, bounce houses, and a snack bar. We also offer party packages.
-affordable all day pass for a variety of bouncy houses (which get changed out periodically so kids get new experiences on subsequent visits)
-lots of arcade options for wee little ones to older teens
-quaint eating/wifi area
-great option for cold, rainy days or to beat the heat
-ticket redemption area
-super monthly events
-frequent visitor cards
-massage chairs/TV area for adults is a great idea, but the last few visits they were broken &/or dirty; I think an elevated viewing area where kids are not allowed would be a wonderful addition

The mill is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4pm, May-October. Beckman Mill is located at Beckman Mill County Park, 6 miles west of Beloit, Wisconsin. On the grounds of the 50-acre county park you will see an authentically restored 1868 grist mill, a new dam, mill pond, fish ladder, foot bridge, saw mill display, 1840s cooperage, visitor center, gift shop, creamery, blacksmith shop, picnic shelter, vintage garden, nature trail and more. The showpiece of the park is the Beckman Mill, the restoration of which was completed in 1997 by the Friends of Beckman Mill's volunteer work crew. It is operational with power being supplied by its original 1860s water driven Leffel turbine. In the event alternate power is needed, the mill can be operated by its vintage two-cylinder gasoline engine. The mill was built shortly after the Civil War by millwright William Howe of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. In 1882 it was acquired by August Beckmann who had previously operated mills in nearby Juda and Hanover. The mill was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. We invite you to come visit us!
This is a great place to take a quiet stroll and enjoy the sounds of the waterfall and lovely sights. The historic buildings make for a memorable backdrop to the afternoon, and the gardens are lovely.

This is a huge antique mall. There is a large amount of vintage and antique items, as well as a few booth with newer stuff. Some areas are bit flea market and arts and crafts and some booths were really cluttered. I think this is about 40/30/30 on antiques, vintage, flea market/crafts. I thought the prices were OK on most items I've seen in the past.
You need a good 3 hours to get through the whole place. Staff is friendly, and they are short on staff too. I doubt I would stop here, just too many booths with newer items for me.

Apple hut has many different types of apples..make sure to check when your favorite is there. They have the best apple cider donuts, apple cider, pies baked or ones you can bake at home, taffy apples and crafts. You can even pick your own apples...what fun for kids!!

A unique little park, totally free, wish I'd have found it sooner!
A little manmade stream runs through the playground, and kids are able to play in it.
Nice, clean sand pit with fake dinosaur bones, cool for the future dino digger.
Well-built wooden structure with platforms, great for climbing and playing, a decent slide, probably intimidating for teeny ones.
My kids like the lion head water fountain and big turtle sculpture.
Only negatives are a few bees (it's outdoors, what can ya do) and the parents who pay no attention to their kids knocking kids off the slides and such.
There's also nearby paddle boats for rental and a very basic snack bar (cash only for both) and an indoor and outdoor facility for events. A lot of grad parties, community events, and such.
