The public aquarium and tropicarium Belgrade is a gathering place for children, their parents, pupils, students and tourists who like nature, animals and are interested in their well-being. In JavAK you can see the biotopes of the Sava, the Danube and the fast rivers, the Amazon, the Red Sea and the African lakes of Malawi and Tanganyika, the Adriatic Sea and the Asian rivers. A cobbled street in the old town part of Belgrade, and if your looking for a great place to have evening meal this is the street lined with restaurants bars each side of the cobbled road on a slight incline, wear suitable footwear, unlike some ladies I seen wearing highheeels they did struggle, there’s trees over hanging some restaurants at night it’s all lit up the seats outside was the ones to get (weather permitting) there’s a group of 3 gentle go from restaurant to restaurant with their instruments and play at your table and sing your requested songs, like us a group we sang along they loved it so did the restaurant owners obviously creating a nice cheerful atmosphere. All the restaurants menu are varied, we ended up sitting at the first one on the right walking down, mostly authentic Serbian food and great mixed grills, there’s a bar called the red bar which we called for a few beers too it was all reasonably priced food and drink 4500 dinar for starters mains and drinks for 4 Pearson’s, walk to the bottom of the street turn right then double back on yourself and there’s some great bars there too. We found a real ale pub with music and stayed till late. Great place just like rest of the city but this is my favourite for both having a beer or eating or combination of both. Can’t wait to go back. One very impressed English tourist ❤️

Staying at the Moskva Hotel and ready for adventure, I dropped my bags and headed out for a walk down the famous pedestrian street… My senses were immediately tickled by the smell of mulled wine, and as I sipped it nice and hot, I passed by kiosks with local artists and lots of shops… Then on to Saint Sava’s and the fortress, and my first jaunt in Belgrade was a success!!

I visited this monastery several times, at every arrival to Kosmaj. Every time, I have the feeling of incredible peace and enjoyment in walking around the monastery.

It is not just historic and symbolic lace but as well good trip to the nature and for small excersize. PLace is omnumental and worth visiting. Great sculptor Ivan Mestrovic made it and it has all the usual Mestrovic lightmotives, cariatides, masonic simobolism, monumental and most important it is great piece of art

here at the river danube banks I spent this summer hot day.with a song of yu group: with river danube strokes the winds i was walking by...it says...when the danube strokes the winds are you and me different worlds..on serbian language: dunavom sibaju vetrovi jesmo li mi suprotni svetovi...just try to imagine..be here and you can see a plenty of animals...swans.white swans on river...from the zooo...are u ready 4 adventure..
