We sell a huge range of secondhand books from rare and collectable gems to good quality paperbacks. We also have a comfortable (ie with lots of squishy seats) 'Bargain Book Zone' which is stuffed full of books at £1 or £2. Our books cover all subjects, and come from all ages. The earliest we have sold was printed in 1476! We now operate from magnificent premises in the heart of Bedford and welcome all who love books. We love books - and we love people who love books.
The bookshop moved in October from the site pictured in Castle Road to one in St Peter's Street, next to Pizza Express and The Quarry Theatre. The change has been a huge success and everyone raves about it. Much larger range of books, and really committeed involved staff.

We've been coming here for years and sadly didn't think to write a Trip Advisor review sooner. We're so lucky to have this brilliant, old fashioned shop in our market town. Tucked away in the cobbled alley, the owner and staff are so knowledgeable about their coffee - beans or ground, roasted on the premises. Waste free - reuse the brown paper bags for small discount - the selection is fantastic. They also have a huge range of loose leaf teas. A few years ago I bought a monthly coffee subscription for my husband, which he loved. Great to support an independent foodie gem.

Hello! We are a gift and tea shop in Leighton Buzzard, we have opened in February 2015 to offer a variety of quality decorative products mostly imported from Germany and Austria. So why don't you Dream A Gift, and come in to the shop you'll love! Yes, you will definitely love it with our friendly atmosphere and unique gift ideas for every occasion. We are a small family run business and you can find us in Peacock Alley, in a lovely building which is one of the oldest in town. Although we are still a small business, we are now operating with a 300+ product range, working with British, German, Austrian and Hungarian suppliers and we are continuously extending our online services as well. We have two amazingly friendly and motivated assistants and we are constantly looking for opportunities to interact with local people and organizations. All of our products are premium quality for a friendly price, our mission is to have happy and satisfied customers with a sustainable operation in the background. We continuously take part in social events as well such as the Big Lunch Event, The Small Business Saturday. We regularly support local schools with raffle prizes (Gilbert Inglefield Academy, Totternhoe Lower School). Our aim is to bring customer care to a new level, to increase our presence in the area and to get involved more on local social events. Our goal on the short-medium term is to get to know you, to increase our online presence and our long term goal is to become a wholesaler for imported European gifts and tea accessories in the UK. So why don't you dream a gift and let us make it come true?

Ollie Vees is the Tiki Cocktail destination in Leighton Buzzard. Our Polynesian themed hideaway bar offers intrigue and interest in every corner, among the bamboo walls we have primitive tiki carvings, original kitsch art, nautical artifacts and oceanic curios. Under dim lighting you can lose all sense of time, escape the pressures of everyday life, and sink into a vintage inspired tiki cocktail. Many of our drink creations hail from the 1930s and 40s. You can almost hear waves lapping at your feet. We have DJs at weekends spinning the best exotica, lounge, rock ‘n’ roll, ska, mod, jazz, beat and beyond. Find out about our upcoming events by adding us on facebook.
