I love the Dendy park walking area as it is so dog friendly. There is an excellent amount of off-leash area so both doggies and humans can get some exercise and the socialising aspect for dogs is excellent. It’s great to be able to throw a ball for your dog on a large oval as well, very good exercise area.

Crystal clear shallow waters, sandstone reefs, sea caves, and rockpools make Ricketts Point the perfect place to discover the wonderful sea creatures of Port Phillip Bay. The beach, with crystal clear shallow waters of less than 5 metres depth in most areas, is patrolled by Beaumaris Life Saving Club, making it a safe place to swim in summer. Experienced divers and snorkelers can explore the offshore sandstone reefs and sea caves that are unique to this area. Meet zebrafish or even a Port Jackson Shark. Ricketts Point is home to unique animals and plants that call the intertidal rock platforms home. Join a Junior Ranger program to get the most out of rockpooling and learn about Victoria’s rich underwater marine life.

Sandringham has the bike/pedestrian alongside Beach Road. This is well constructed and caters for the less advanced cyclists. There is also a sandy path closer to the cliff-tops that affords good views and more vegetation.

My kids loved this park and now my grandkids love it too. This is a fabulous area for children. The ‘fort’, as it’s known, is a terrific place for play, for exploration and generally for fun. The land the ‘fort’ sits in is large with enough space for ball games, for running and playing, for kite flying and for picnics. An excellent venue for families - young, old and in-between. Thumbs up for this park.

This park is fantastic for families and pet owners. The playground is sectioned/fenced off so that dogs don't get in so it is safe for young children and next door is a large oval where many dogs can go off leash. Great park!!
