Windmill Lake Wake & Eco Park is a unique, environmentally friendly outdoor recreation centre in the heart of Huron County.
Great staff and a beautiful property. Three of us (ages 11, 14, 45), all first time wake boarders went and our instructor Cam did a great job coaching and driving the cable, we were up wake boarding and doing surface 180's before our Beginner Lesson was done! Will definitely be back for more. Next time we may add the Aqua Park, it looks like a blast. Book ahead, they seem to fill up, especially on weekends. Also, happy to see they have appropriate COVID precautions in place.

What a wonderful stop. Came across this winery by chance and stopped for a tasting. I loved their Farmer and Frenchman 2019 white blend.

Main Street Gallery is owned and operated by artist Jim Taleski and his wife Linda in the quaint village of Bayfield located on the west coast of Lake Huron. The gallery features Jim's paintings and driftwood sailboats along with over 30 artists and artisans whose work includes ceramics, wood, photographs, textile art, carvings, glass and metal sculptures.
This gallery has a wide variety of art and shows the works of many local artists. pottery, metal sculpture, jewelry, fabric art etc. Interesting place to browse and friendly staff.

What a view of Lake Huron from Pioneer park, a must visit. The wooden staircase from Pioneer park takes you up close to Lake Huron. But best part is the view of vastness of Lake Huron from the Pioneer Park. Just superb blue waters and I am pretty sure that both sunrise and sunset would be amazing to view from here. When we were visiting a local suggested to come back in full winter as view from up is like the views at North Pole.

Beautiful park, great for all ages. Nice play centre and splash pad for kids. Friday nights is a slow market and there was fantastic vegan vendors. We even banked in for about an hour watching the Ukulele club from Bayfield and they were so lovely with wonderful voices

This place was a very nice surprise. We came to Bayfield for the day, just looking to have lunch and drink some good beer. We stopped in for a flight here and were very happy that we did. When you drive onto the property you pass all the hops hanging in the fields on either side of the road, then as you get up to the little barn when they serve you your beer, you see many picnic tables to your right in the field to sit and enjoy a cold bevy. There is also a small fenced area that has a small horse and goats grazing outside. There could be more animals too that we didn't see. It was really nice to drink our beer and watch them and enjoy nature. What we loved about this place is that they have a variety of different beer on offer, including something amazing we have never tried before: beer slushie!! They had 2 different kinds of beer slushie. The first was a "Funky Monkey Banana", and the one we had was called "River Road Orange", which was their Pale Ale mixed with orange slushie. Man we couldn't believe how good it was. The Zesty Farmer mexican style pale ale was very good as well. We also tried the Honey Brown Ale and it was an interesting taste. We enjoyed the fact that they sell Local Maple Syrup here as well, some of it made here right on sight! We bought some and it is absolutely delicious! A huge bottle for $20 When we come back to Bayfield in the future we will visit River Road again!
