The Cheddar and Ale Trail is a collection of close to a dozen artisanal cheese, beer and hard cider producers in the Bay of Quinte Region. This Region has a long and proud agricultural heritage and the Trail features several of Canada's oldest cheese factories, where yo can see cheesemakers are making cheddar much the same way they did at the time of Confederation.

Exceptional tours of Prince Edward County that can include numerous experiences. While there are many tour companies in the County none have ALL 5 star ratings. Personally run by the owner who has extensive knowledge of the wineries, breweries and cider houses as well as the amazing history of the County, you will experience a truly memorable tour.

The property features a restored century Barn suitable for special events, a Barrel House offering live demonstrations weekly and daily tastings of Local Barrel Aged Wine Vinegars, Fruit Vinegars & Reductions, Giant Oak Sherry Casks, a Make-Your-Own-Wine facility located in the cellar of the Tasting Centre and now Gourmet Wood Fired Pizza served outback amongst the vines. The Estate vineyard includes Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and some hybrids. Black Prince was the first to use local County oak barrels to age their wines and vintage after vintage the wines receive awards nationally and internationally. Curtis was awesome!!! Great wine and great vinegar. We went when it wasn't too busy, and bought a couple bottles. Worth the trip!

Amazing wines, Fabulous and knowledgeable staff and a family atmosphere! A Prince Edward County must!! The winery is set up in an amazing area, overlooking the sprawling vines. There is plenty of outdoor space to sip your wine, have a wood fired pizza and listen to live music. The staff is caring, very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine craft! A must stop in PEC!!

Family owned and operated farm brewery located in Idyllic Prince Edward County. Every beer tells a story. Gaining inspiration from the rich County history and culture our family owned and operated farm brewery encompasses two 150 year old - heritage lumber buildings that were disassembled, moved and re-purposed as our bottle shop and tap room. Opening its doors in October 2016, Parsons brews are enjoyed throughout the County in restaurants and pubs. Our expansive beer garden features alfresco dining from our Outdoor Kitchen, enjoy the unstructured playground with your little ones nestled between a field of barley and a fledgling hop yard. It doesn't get better than this. Crafted Authentically. Brewed Sustainably. Shared Passionately.
My wife and I made the trip out to Parsons, and it was well worth it. The staff took all the necessary COVID precautions, which was nice. We were quickly served our beverages and took a seat on the extensive picnic table set up on the property. I thoroughly enjoyed the Double IPA, as you can see in the picture. My wife (not a beer drinker) really liked her artisanal raspberry & lime soda.

Brewery, tap room and patio with Slight Peppa Caribbean cuisine. Live music and beach volleyball court. 10 beers on tap and plenty of shenanigans.
What an amazing place. We came for a bachelorette and we’re not disappointed. Delicious beer, fun employees and an awesome place. Our guide Zack was the highlight of the day, as was Dan, they made the tour and our day 100x better. Definitely was not expecting to spend the majority of our day there, but I’m so glad we did. I will for sure be back in the summer!!
