Beautiful setting, however little time to enjoy the inside, reduced areas to visit - the guide tour was too short and frustrating, considering the price. What you are allowed to see is what there is in every book or brochure, the rest is closed to the public. A shame and sham.

What I love about Questo App, is that it always wins against locals! I don't recommend it only for tourists, by also for people born and living in the city. My story with Questo started with the "Haunted City" Game, and I discovered Munich in a very dynamic, flexible, updated, enthusiastic, and unique way. I have been living there for 7 months, and I thought I knew every corner in it, but guess what!? I was totally wrong!!! "Haunted City" challenge highlights magnificent details thru the trail... I also purchased the brewery game in Munich and also a game in Vienna! So just grab your backpack, fill it with some great snacks, and let's hunt some ghosts ;) So, in every trip, I recommend reserving a day for Questo or if you don't have any clear plan for a one-day city visit, just download Questo and it will do all the job for you with the best experience ever. Very well recommended!

If you are in Meissen, go for the Stadtkirche (central market place) and ask if you are allowed to climb the tower. Currently, the tower is under renovation so please ask in the Tourist office opposite of the Stadtkirche for the key. You've to pay 2 EUR and then you can climb up the tower. There are several levels to climb: 1st the stone steps, 2nd a wooden stair, then the higher you climb at last a tiny ladder but you'll be awarded with a fantastic look over Meissen. See it yourselves and report……. :-)
