A very great hideout from the stressful and space constraint Singapore. Over here people are friendly, not rude and impatient, does not have sense of entitlement. No need to squeeze or give way when walking because the crowd is quite limited.

Nice beach to go but not recommended to swim. Many food courts opened near the beach. Some people go the for fishing.

Our coach stopped here at Yong Peng in the morning after departing Singapore. It has a wide selection of local Malaysian and Asian snacks and pastries and even sell coffee for your rest break. The best part of this rest stop is they put a lot of samples out for you to try, so i could say you could try everything and feel “full” as if you had breakfast! Will come again if I want to buy local stuff. Not exactly cheap but the packaging looks good as gifts.
