Battambang is one of Cambodia’s most under rated destinations. Located 3 hours to the south of Siem Reap, this is a stunning countryside destination in an area known as the ‘rice bowl’ of the country. You will travel from Siem Reap to Battambang in a private air-conditioned car or van and then switch to a tuk tuk for your day tour. Your day tour will begin with a village visit, driving a little off-road to see the fishing village, local plantations and including a ride on the Bamboo Train. From here your guide will take you on to Wat Banan temple, climbing all 365 stairs to reach the temple plateau, followed by a stop at the infamous Killing Caves. Your last stop for the day is Phnom Sampeav, famed for its bat caves. Your guide will take you to his secret mountain spot where you will have a short climb to the top. As the sun sets, watch the millions of bats fly out for their evening meal before returning to Siem Reap.
Inclusions: Lunch, Snacks, Bottled water, Entry Fees, Air-conditioned vehicle, Private transportation

We walked a long way & didn't see much. We visited a temple and didn't know what to do. Not a lot of local information.
The tour takes two days and one night. It is a good opportunity to see another province and get to know Cambodia better. The Battambang province is known for its production of rice as well as other local industries. This tour takes you on a fun and adventurous bamboo train ride along an old railway track where you will see very nice rice fields, local villages, old French colonial , traditional Khmer houses and so on. Also can visit the ancient temple of Banan which built in 7 century and the last stop to visit the sunset with the big family of bat in the cave . This tour includes driver, with additional guide services available for a fee, please select the appropriate tour option for your traveling needs.

It was a great experience for seeing Angkor temples in the hard time of Covid-19. We booked the package just 12 hours before the tour started and the operator was really quick to respond us. We were actually 4 people with payment of 40s US$, this is the nicest price ever. Great driver with air-conditioned car, Ben was really great and he also giving us some information of Angkor (not just a driver). Thank you Ben and we' will see you again next year.
Enjoy the whole day tour from early in the morning until late afternoon to explore what Mother Nature has to offer. A trip to the Cambodian bird sanctuaries is absolutely an experience of a lifetime.

We enjoyed our trip a lot. We had a chance to find out more details about the temples, especially about side galleries in Ankgor Wat. Highly recommended, together with a nice lunch break for hand made noodles.

before I chose I read some mixed reviews. Some people were doing it for the second time but I will not advise it unless you are stuck in Sihanoukville and there is nothing eles to do
Battambang is centered between Poipet (Border of Cambodia and Thailand), Phnom Penh and Siem Reap of tourist attractions. If you have traveled from Phnom Penh or Poipet to Battambang, you have not yet visited Angkor Wat, because you have a short time to depart from Cambodia via Poipet Pass to Thailand, you can take our service taxi from Battambang to visit Angkor Wat in one day and return to Battambang.
Inclusions: Cool waters and cool towels, Lunch, Friendly, English-speaking driver
Exclusions: Personal travel insurance, Temple Pass - One day pass costs $37
Really good fun. It goes surprisingly fast. Would definitely recommend - there's not much else to do in Battambang afterall!
Exploring around Battambang for a day trip from Siem Reap the guide and driver help your way out to Battambang Bat Cave at sunset time is one of the most highly recommended experiences when you travel to Battambang city.
