Nestled within a mysterious forest, Oddwood & Co is a live-escape game, stretching your mind in ways you didn't know possible. You and your team will face a series of brain tingling challenges, causing suspenseful excitement, snorty laughter and follicley painful bewilderment. A group and family friendly challenge, you are given 60 minutes to complete one of our challenges - 'The Prospector's Peril' or 'F.L.I.E.S'. Expect a character lead experience combined with an escape room without the confines of the walls! Upon completion you are invited to spend time around the campfire toasting a marshmallow and playing one of our fireside games including... horseshoe tossing and a giant tree jigsaw! This is an outdoor activity so please come dressed appropriately for the expected conditions.
Excellent escape room experience, we undertook the miners revenge The puzzles were challenging, and being set outdoors was a very welcome change of scenery. Brilliant and friendly staff, also dog friendly, and classic outdoor games and smores around the fire to finish off. Brilliant, cant recommend enough, and we'll be back soon to attempt the other game!

Proving a firm favourite with us to treat ourselves, when possible, to lunch here when the dog is at the Groomers on the same site. On this occasion we scanned in and were offered a choice of two tables, as we were going to have paninis and coffees for lunch we went for table by the wood burning stove tucked away to one side, as other than a staff member top the stove up with wood twice we didn't have anyone walking past us. Track and trace had only recently come in with QR codes to be scanned on arrival. Easily done and no issues though. I had the steak and brie hot sandwich and it was very very nice !! Equally my daughters lunch with the hand cut chips was good - I was partial to stealing a few chips as they were amazing !! Then we just sat there with a coffee, no rush, until the groomer called my mobile phone to say our dog was ready for collection. There are other shops you could browse here too and a small petting area with animals popular with children, lovely place to stop off.....be warned the cafe does get busy ...one day I might get around to trying the tempting looking cake ! Note - Dogs are allowed inside too !!! In the summer there are often tables outdoors too, but once into autumn mostly indoors.

What a lovely day is to be had here if you want safe and peaceful family fun. The maze felt safe with plenty of room, fun games to play in the field afterwards (bean bag throwing games, go karts, space hoppers etc) and comfy hay bales to sit on and enjoy the sun and scenery. Beef burgers are home made and generously sized; and the Maizy Moo icecream is really delicious. No e numbers, just from the cow, with flavourings if you want them. One of my favourite summer outings...
