A small volunteer led and organised village museum that tells the story of Darfield's long industrial & social history. Housed in a restored 1750 Yeoman's residence, the museum opened in the year 2000 and has a large variety of displays illustrating the key factors of Darfield. The museum displays both domestic memorabilia, artefacts of local significance and much more!

Cannon Hall is a stunning Georgian country house museum set in 70 acres of historic parkland and beautiful landscaped gardens. The perfect day out for all the family.
A great free museum set in lovely grounds with squirrels at every corner. The Georgian interior is straight out of an Austen novel complete with ballroom and drawing room plus a fantastic pre raphaelite gallery including works such as The Trial of Paris. Recommended for all ages
