This bay is best known for its calm, sheltered waters, perfect for swimming and scuba diving.
Visited a few times now, the most incredible beach with the most fantastic snorkelling, forget the organised trips and just swim out to see the turtles in their own environment, very little tide to think about and crystal clear water. We were lucky enough to see a Stingray out there too this year, amazing.

Set against the brilliant blue of the Caribbean sea and sky, our Visitor Centre invites guests from around the world to discover the story behind Barbados' finest spirit. Greeted in our lush green garden, visitors will explore the history, heritage and craft of Mount Gay rums, while special tours treat you to a cocktail mixing session or a traditional Bajan lunch. Come learn of the distillation, ageing and blending techniques that have been perfected over 310 years of crafting the world's oldest rum! Mount Gay Rum: There is a Time and a Place.
We booked the rum tour for when our cruise stopped in Barbados and it was amazing. Booking online was easy, the history of the distillery was very interesting and Rumal, our tour guide, was fantastic!

Enterprise Beach looks great in pictures, but it is also good for swimming.
In our opinion the best beach on the island, one that gives you options???? The calm side is great for a long warm bath where you can relax, swim and even talk with other bathers, many returnees amidst the throng of locals. We usually did it in 2-hours stints before towelling down- my partner has rheumatoid arthritis so this is also therapy time for her having been assisted in, as well as, out of the water. After the water it is time to chill on a chair or bench, soaking in the rays and reading a book. Hunger and thirst are sated via a walk into Oistins for a roti from Chefette, KFC, food from a street van or one of the Oistins cafes. Make the effort and take the plunge.

Beautiful clean beach - plenty of space - plenty of sunbeds. Close to local eaterys and bars. Happy place

A tiny opening in between the cliffs, wow view! A great place for beautiful photos! Swimming here can be challenging because of the high wave and very tiny shore. Visit here early in the morning to have beautiful photos when no one is around. This place can be felt crowded with only 4/5 people as this is a very small beach.

A great experience of Oistins and far less busy due to Covid. Really tasty fresh fish, red snapper was delish and I recommend Friday here to get your catch of the day!
