Perfect and very professional tour with an on time pickup, good vehicle and very friendly and english speaking guide. A lot of interesting information was provided during the tour and the guide also answered a lot of my extra questions. The only thing which was not very clear from the description is that the picnic lunch was not included in the price. There was a chance to order something to eat, but I didn't take advantage of it as I wasn't very hungry. I can definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested to see something else than just beaches. I was the only attendant on the selected day (possibly because of Covid times) and I enjoyed it a lot.

Discover the Isla Cabritos National Park in the Independencia region, considered of being one of the most beautiful regions of the country. The lake Enriquillo is located between the mountains of Bahoruco and Neyba and lies 30 meters below sea level. The region gets very little rainfall and is therefore the driest region of Dominican Republic. Due to this fact the vegetation in this area almost exclusively consists of cacti but this anyhow does not stop the wildlife from flourishing! A variety of Iguanas, Scorpions, Crocodiles and Birds (60 different species including egrets, herons and king-fisher) find their home in this well protected surrounding. The lake is the largest natural reserve where the American Crocodile can be found. Phenomenal tour! We saw the Tres Ojos, the Presidential Palace, Christopher Colombia final Reston place, Zonia Colonia...and so much more. It was a private tour with just my daughter and myself. Our guide provided water, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. Masks were on at all time. He answered every question and gave us tips on negotiating with vendors. Phenomenal!

You have to be up by 6:30am for your driver to pick you up from hotel but it is well worth it. Pedro was an awesome driver. Be sure to bring gratuity,it’s the only thing that’s not included as the host (workers) will be taking beautiful pics, selling fresh coconuts n pineapples as well as massages. (They work for small tips) Lunch was good enough for me but I would advise one to eat before leaving. You could ask for as much food as you like when getting the lunch that’s included. Good vibes and great time!!! We will definitely be going back again soon.
