Sangiang Island is located in the Sunda Strait between the islands of Java and Sumatra with the distance only takes approximately 45 minutes from Anyer, by boat or motorized boat. Its natural beauty, in the form of coral reefs and beaches. Sangiang Island has 3 types of forest ecosystem namely lowland forest ecosystem, coastal forest ecosystem and brackish forest ecosystem. Several types of flora in this region, include sea cypress (Casuarina equisetifolia), bayur (Pterospermum javanicum), ketapang (Terminalia catappa), nyamplung (Callophyllum inophylum), sea hibiscus (Hisbiscus tiliaceus), walikukun (Scoutenia ovata), mangrove (Rhizophora stylosa), and cantigi (Phempis acidula).
