Have visited here several times (usually in March when it is much cooler). They have added a lot more outdoor seating and small canopies so people can enjoy sipping wine while social distancing. Bar has been added at the end of the porch to place your order so you don't even have to go inside. Could use a little more shade in the summer. Very relaxing atmosphere with a small pond and a few outdoor games like Bocce and corn hole.

The Sunday we were there was really busy and crowded but they were prepared for it. Directions to park with shuttle service, live music, friendly people, places to sit (lots of folks brought lawn chairs), photo ops and wines that will please everyone. Next time we go we will plan to spend more time.

Great place to visit and enjoy the views. We visited this place on one of the busiest times of the year and still didn’t feel rushed or crowded. We both took a walk across the swinging bridge and then visited the animals in the sanctuary. I especially enjoyed seeing the Forrest Gump curve as I have always enjoyed the movie. Definitely worth a visit to this area.

As a grandfather I did not expect to have fun with the family of four. But we all had a good time, and after saying I won't, got my hands dirty and sifted the provided pail of clay for gems. Kept the 6 of us busy for an hour or more. What added to the fun, the staff checked over our finds and then placed them on a large paper with labels what the rocks and stones were. They taped this down, and the two children left with a nice memento of the outing and some "gems".
