Guide (Ankeith) provided a lot of context, history and insight to the locations and made everything really easy. KR Market the highlight. I challenge anyone not to take a good photo there!

The legacy of over 150 years of British presence in Bangalore is hard to miss if you are in the city. For example, the broad roads laid out over 200 years ago for horse carriages, bullock carts, and horsemen do a fine job of carrying the chaotic traffic of this day too. This is a half-day tour in a sedan/minivan and lasts about 4 hours

Inclusions: Transport by private air-conditioned car or minivan, Bottled water, Hotel pickup and drop-off from hotels in M G Road area. Else we meet a Cauvery Emporium at 8 AM, Passionate and fluent English presenter, Entry Fees, Authentic South Indian Lunch

Had the pleasure to meet both Mithoo and her charming husband which to now I’m embarrassed to say his name escapes me . We had a wonderful morning of trying delicious Bengali style croquets with a lovely tea then we got straight to work making a delicious lunch of coconut jumbo prawns , mustard potatoes , poori and list goes on, an absolute feast and then lunch was served the traditional way of eating in courses , followed by an amazing mango chutney with papadams . This had been one of the highlights of my trip . If ever in Calcutta and want to know what real hospitality and real cooking Is take this cooking class.

I had booked the private tour of Royal Mysore with Five senses tours and we had Satish as our guide. It was an amazing day. Satish was a fantastic person with immence knowledge. He was also very caring and took very good care of us who were all first time visitors in India. Mysore was incredible and the palace is no less than Taj Mahal. We also saw other parts of this old kingdom like the old bazaar and few more palaces. The lunch was fingerlicking. Satish had suggested traditional Mysore meals and it was a great experience. Go ahead and book this whenever you are in India! Fully recommended.

Dear Sushma, just a quick word to thank you wholeheartedly for the day and a half we could spend in your company. You fulfilled everything we would have wanted from a quick tour of your city. Seeing things we would never had ventured into as tourists (Sikh temple and kitchen, local wash laundry house, coffee shop, flower market) and your explanation of the different temples, religious significance and history was spot on. The restaurants you suggested and took us to were succulent and eye opening. Thank you very much!!

Our guide Satish took us on a phenomenal tour of Tipu Sultan and his legacy in Bangalore. We saw a magnificent fort and the summer palace of Tipu. Satish made the tour memorable by not only showing us grand monuments but also talking about Tipus economic and military reforms. We could visualize the impact he had in this part of the world. The arrangements were impeccable. The pick up was on time and driver was safe. Satish had arranged the local coffee for us and it was a awesome.
