The Neo-Dravidian-style Vidhana Soudha is the seat of the state legislature while the red Attara Kacheri houses the High Court. In 2005, an annex called the Vikas Soudha was inaugurated, designed as an exact replica of the Vidhana Soudha. Though these buildings cannot be visited, they can be viewed from the outside.
The more imposing building - Vidhana Soudha, which houses the Legislative Assembly of the state of Karnataka was built post-independence and is a beautiful building on this broad boulevard. Across from it is the Attara Kacheri, the High Court of the state, which is a beautiful long red building and is a much older building. It was built in 1868.

One of the most ancient Jaina centres of Kodagu, Mulluru is in Somwarpet taluk. This place seems to have been the capital of the Kongalvas, who were the subordinates of the Cholas. There are three basadis of Parswanatha, Shanthinatha and Chandranatha. The Parswanatha basadi was built by Poccahha, the queen of King Kongalva II in the mid 11th century. This is recorded in an inscription engraved

Located in Basavanagudi, this temple (built by Kempegowda in the Dravidian style) contains a huge granite monolith of Nandi. The temple grounds also host the annual groundnut fair in November/December. The nearby Dodda Ganesha Temple and Bugle Rock Garden also can be visited.
Very happy to see humoungous Nandi Statue. Happy to see a dedicated temple for Nandi(Bull). This temple is in the same premises as Dodda Ganesh temple. It is a small hillock hosting Nandi temple. Very much recommend to visit this place, to see one of the biggest Nandi's in India.

On February 26, 1995, on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri, the Shivoham Shiva Temple was inaugurated by Sri Shankaracharya of Shringeri. Since then the Shiva Temple has become a revered spiritual destination for devotees and visitors. Year after year, with Lord Shiva’s blessings, the temple has transformed into a destination of faith that attracts millions of devotees from not only India but all around the world. The main attractions of the temple include the 65-feet-tall Shiva statue, the 32-feet-tall Ganesha statue, the 25-feet-tall Shiv Ling, Paanch Dham Yatra, and Barah Jyothir Ling Yatra.
Unique modern temple (especially space utilisation as it encircled a mall in a busy area :) ) giving opportunity to experience the grandeur of Shiva with various exhibition of 12 Jyothir linga and other offerings (milk/water abhishek, lamp, aggarbatti) to Shiva and worry dropping processes. Entry comes in 50, 150 and 250 rs and externally well guided. Soothing place, cave like passages leading to huge Shiva Murthy with fountain. Navgraha also there.

The Bangalore Palace was the private residence of the royal Wodeyar family. Built to resemble Windsor Castle, this quirky palace is filled with an interesting and eclectic collection of art and paraphernalia from a bygone era. The palace grounds are a popular venue for rock concerts and other music events.
It was lovely to see the beautiful Bangalore Palace which is one of the eye catching tourist attractions of the city. The architecture is Tudor style and looks European. It was built by Maharaja Chamraja Wodeyar. It has been the summer residence and it is just beautiful. Lovely paintings and artifacts are displayed. The Maharaja courtyard is the best. The garden is also nice
