The brightest stars of Los Baleares are Majorca, Ibiza and peaceful Minorca. Situated between France and Africa, the archipelago's islands each have distinct characters. Majorca is the most developed and offers a mass of hotels, fast food joints and crowded beaches. Ibiza is loved by a hard partying set, including many gay visitors. It is also increasingly popular with upscale travelers, drawn by the chameleon island's reputation as "the new Provence." Pick an island and stake a claim on its sand.

This Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18-hole golf course opened in 2003. Situated in the northern part of the mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is located right by the sea. The 6.499 meter long course blends naturally into the typical mallorcan terrain. The namegiving island with its lighthouse, just off the shore, can be seen from most of the holes. Apart from the splendid sea view, the players are surrounded by pine and olive groves. Even though a young course, Alcanada is already recognized by a number of well known golf magazines and golf guides as one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe.
I’ve played Alcanada a lot over the years and the new greens are exceptional (probably the quickest greens I’ve putted on!). Practice facilities are as good as it gets and the overall experience is fantastic. All the staff are always very welcoming and helpful. I personally think it’s hands down the best course on the island and always enjoyable to play.

Son Vida is the oldest course of the island and has a legend status. Son Vida was the venue for the European Tour for two times and counts as highlight for players all over Europe. The old tree population and the splendid view around the bay of Palma are spectacular.
Have played all the Son golf courses regularly for many years and have always enjoyed playing Son Vida as it’s a well thought out course that needs a bit of course planning to play it well, but yesterday, it was in the best condition I can remember and the greens challenging, but fair and running true. The whole experience was friendly and professional, from booking in to the caddie master, a pleasure to play.

Vall d'Or is an 18-hole golf course par 71, 5.538 Meters long from white tees. It combines two completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a forest of pine, almond and olive trees. The back nine holes have wider and more uneven fairways that go down towards the coast. The greens, protected by bunkers, welcome all approach shots. It is an average-difficulty golf course but quite entertaining, and with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. Opened in 1999, the club house is located on top of a hill from where one can enjoy the spectacular views over the bay of Portocolom and Cala d'Or. The club house offers the following services and installations: Reception and club storage room, hire of buggies and trolleys, club hire, Pro- shop, ample changing rooms, availability of lockers, 2 paddle courts, swimming pool and solarium, Bar-Restaurant, terrace with spectacular views. Spanish, Catalan, English, French and German speaking staff. Open every day from 7.30 Am.

The golf course, Canyamel Golf, situated in the northeast of Mallorca, boasts a diverse menu for the golfer and is distinguished for being of the most beautiful golf courses on the island. José Gancedo designed this 18 hole golf course (par 73) with the philosophy of doing the least damage to Mallorca by adapting the course to the natural topography of the land. The main characteristic of our champ is the quality and the speed of its greens, as well as being a course conceived for the player of all levels, makes playing on this course a complete experience.Score Card:Par: 73Number of Holes: 18TeesYellow: 5.982 m. - VC. 71'5 - VS. 128Red: 5.356 m. - VC. 74'0 - VS. 125PRO: D. Golf Son Muntaner is a course designed to exceed your expectations. An extraordinary design, greens that propose continuous challenges and a careful maintenance to the detail make playing this course as an obligation for the golfers that visit our island.
A very enjoyable experience. The course has a good layout, challenging but not overly demanding but there's a good variety of holes. The condition of the course is good. Pro-shop is limited in terms of products. Practice ground is good. Restaurant is good. Staff at the club are exceptional, very friendly and professional too, leading to a well run club. There are deals to be had if you're flexible on your tee time, so well worth checking.

Located in the south of the island of Mallorca (Llucmajor), this 12 year old course with 6,347 meters of extension is distinguished for being one of the youngest courses of the island. 18-hole, par 72 course created in 2006 by R.S Group, the first half (holes 1 to 9) is Scottish with bumpy greens, while the second half (holes 10 to 18) obeys a typically American design, respecting and preserving as much as possible the natural environment and its orography. 15 km from Palma de Mallorca airport and 17 km from the FAN Mallorca shopping centre, Golf Maioris has one of the most privileged locations in the area, being very close to the Delta de Sa Torre, and on foot from the best cycling routes in the south of Mallorca (Cap Blanc - S´Estanyol). Perfect environment, with a microclimate that offers 300 days of sunshine a year, the ideal choice to enjoy the best experience with all the amenities and services necessary for a magnificent day of golf.
