At Hawksbill Dive Center we believe that, effective diver education is about changing lives. Scuba instruction Isn’t simply teaching people how to clear a mask or not to hold their breaths. PADI Professionals who make a difference in people’s life are those who lead others into the diving lifestyle. They go beyond teaching diving to teaching why diving is wonderful –how, where and with whom

I'm Jacques and my initial profession was a boat builder. After i sold my business i decided to build one last boat to bring my villa guests on excursions not only to get extra income but at the same time to enjoy myself. I love the sea and i love what i do. Making guests happy and ensuring they have a memorable experience at sea. A day with me in tranquility boat charter is a day you will cherish for a lifetime.

I come to this salon at least twice a month, the ladies who work there are great, special thanks to Cynthia, she is very good at what she does and very professional in her approach. I often come after work, and think they need more light to so their job better. The room is too dim after 6 pm, and i can feel the girls are struggling to see properly, which is essential for a beauty salon!

On our return trip to Mahe, there were only two nonstop options on the Cat Cocos ferry (early morning or late afternoon, that would miss our flight). Taking the inter island ferry to Praslin and transferring, allowed us to leave La Digue at a more reasonable time. We could pre-book the Cat Cocos ferry (Praslin to Mahe) at the La Digue jetty, but the inter island ferry didn't have that option. You just show up 15 minutes before departure and can buy your ticket with an agent. When we arrived at the boarding area, it was a bit confusing as there was a very long line of people waiting. We asked around and were told that those people did have tickets already and we should just go stand near the front to wait for an agent. When the ferry arrived from Praslin, passengers off-loaded and an agent came off the boat to sell tickets to those of us who didn't already have one. It was a little bit chaotic, because arriving passengers were waiting for their luggage, new passengers were boarding, and we were trying to buy tickets - all in the same exact area. We got the ticket easily and then just joined into the line of passengers boarding. There didn't seem to be any concern as to where on the boat we sat, so we went upstairs. The trip was quick, the boat is a bit smaller than the Cocos, so a bit more movement, but still a pretty gentle ride.
