Introductory courses, leisurely rides, guided tours or adventure rides, let yourself be carried away! Make the most out of nature in a different way, observe the flora and fauna and breathe the fresh air. All this without any noise pollution and in total respect of the environment: this is what it means to go for a ride on a Segway PT.

This place is high up in the pyrenees. It is the most fantastic location and was once a refuge for various travelers centuries ago and again for World War II resistance fighters to go back and forwards between Spain and France. There is a Monument there in the honour of the fighters If you want to eat there you have to make a booking at least the day before as it is very popular. It is well worth the drive up the windy narrow road to the hospice. The walks are numerous and for all levels of experience and available time The scenery is magnificent - the high mountains rising up all around. Not to be missed by serious hikers and walkers. There are places to stay like the refuge huts but on inspection we found these to be very musty and mouldy smelling and therefore Not a good option for people with respiratory problems.

We skied here for 5 days between the 9th and 16th of March this year (2019) in what can only be described, in the main, as warm conditions. The pisteurs did a fantastic job of managing the snow in difficult conditions and kept most of the runs open. The ski station itself was quiet during the week with lift ques counted in seconds and plenty of room on the pistes. There are a good selection of runs that cater for a range of skills, my wife was happiest on the green runs and easy blues in the South facing bowl of Secteur Techus, where there is also a small ski-in ski-out bar, Bar-A-Pente, with excellent charcuterie, soup and sandwiches as well as drinks. For me there were the more challenging blues, reds and black of Secteur du Lac and Cecire. The views to be had of the Pyrenees are simply stunning from the plateau at the top of the gondola. Having both taken lessons I can recommend the ski school and suggest that the private lessons are really good value for money. The instructors skill level is very high, the teaching is very well tuned to your needs and they will challenge you if you want to be challenged and gently encourage you if you don't. Claude and Alain were our instructors and i would gladly take lessons with them again. We are planning to go back next year for more skiing in the lovely ski station.
