Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. The town has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. It's still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. (The Dame Julie Andrews of German spa towns, if you will.) Sporty types will find an abundance of opportunities to enjoy golf, tennis, horseback riding and skiing nearby in winter.

Our initial tour was planned in May, for our Honeymoon, unfortunately this was cancelled due to corona virus. We rescheduled our trip to March 2021. We contacted Ophorus to re-arrange. Michelle was completely understanding and moved our booking, without any extra fees or hassle. She responded extremely quickly, for which we was most grateful. Unfortunately, our honeymoon was cancelled on us for a second time, so we reached out to Michelle again to ask for a refund. Once again, we received a very quick reply, which was great. I work for a small business so understand the importance of cash for small businesses, but once again there was no hassle, and our refund has been processed. I cannot be thankful enough. When the travel restrictions ease, we will certainly be re-booking with Ophorus, there customer service has been excellent. There has been no language barrier issues, the English has been excellent. I wish everyone who reads this review to book with Ophorus. Going by my experience so far they will not be disappointed. Many thanks to Ophorus from us during these difficult times. I wish you well.

Once you are there you don't need a car, everything is within walking distance. They call Baden Baden a spa town, but it's much more, yes there are plenty of spa's to relax in but the scenery and local walking paths are amazing, if you're a hiker there are so many trail options to choose from. You can hike from the centre of town to the top of the Merkur Mountain in an hour where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the town and surrounding countryside. Baden Baden is the most chilled out town I've ever been to. It has a host of wonderful restaurants, cafe's and Ice cream parlours, everything from Pizza to fine dinning at the Wintergarden in Brenners Hotel.

I travel a lot to Europe and was looking for something fun and new... Found this online a while back and chose the 4 nights/3 drives/790Km tour from Zurich. From start to finish the tour was well organized, with excellent hotels and a perfect route packed with incredible roads and wonderful scenery. Piloting the Porsche 911 over the high alpine roads was probably one of the best couple of days I ever spent in Europe!

Martin Luther is NOT the same historical figure as MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr. Germany is not the same nation as the US. Martin Luther was the great GERMAN reformer of the 1500s. Martin Luther King Jr. was the great civil rights American reformer of the 1960s. I keep trying to help this organization, but they don't seem to worry about trivia like historical facts.

His statue can be found on the square of the same name. Known for its attractions, such as the Gothic cathedral of Münster, Cathedral Square and the world-famous restaurant "Maison Kammerzell" Guy Pierre Baumanns, Strasbourg also invites to a boat trip on the idyllic Ill through the romantic area "Petite France".

It was interesting to learn the history about the Berlin Wall. There is not much of the wall left but it's enough to have a good idea how things were back then.
