We have visited Badajoz during "Semana Santa" holidays. The Plaza Alta has a sense of layers of history. You have no idea walking up the streets of Badajoz that you are entering this square. The restaurants and cafes in the plaza are amazing so you have the opportunity of having drinks or coffee and enjoy some typical tapas
