It's a nice walk uphill to this amazing church but well worth it as the church is fantastic inside and very unusual as its like 2 churchs in one. Its a pity that I couldn't find any information in english at the church as I'm sure it has a lot of history, but I'll look it up later. There is also a little church here that was closed but looked very cute
There are beautiful views over Bad Tolz from here so well worth the walk up.

This is a pretty park set behind the old monastery, pleasant to walk around and then sit down and read a book before you move on. At the opposite end from the monastery there is a cafe across the road which does a wide range of cakes.

what a memorial to those killed in an uprising on Christmas Day centuries ago...small & simple but heartfelt emotions when you see inside. Beautiful little chapel.

This is set in the centre of town and is set over four floors, each floor focuses on a different aspect of the towns history, all of the information is set out in German, but if you have done the towns walking tour in English you can understand a lot of what the museum is about. If you are staying in a hotel you can use your guest card to get free access. Like most museums there are some parts that you can skip over whilst others you become totally engrossed in. Worth a diversion for an hour or so.

This is an interesting church as it indicates the wealth of Bavaria. Lots of gilding but all done with very good taste.
