Thomley is a place for people of all ages and abilities. We are based on a 9 acre site and we have: a soft play area, art room, sensory room, bike track, zip wire, play rooms, imagination room, fort, cycle track, park, music room, imagination room, teenage den and much more! PLUS we have additional workshops on selected days, such as: giant bubbles, woodwork, sports workshops and music therapy workshops. People with and without diagnosis are welcome at Thomley, we have focus days for for everyone - preschool, teenage, quiet, family, community and more.
We were told about Thomley Hall as we have a child with Autism and ADHD. We went with a close friend who also has a child with Autism. We visited their website and booked our places through their link and received an email confirmation. We took our 9 yr old, 7 yr old and 12 week old and the cost was £20. They open at 10am and close at 15:30. When we arrived we headed to reception and spoke to the receptionist who was very helpful and explained what we needed to do and she arranged for us to have a tour around the grounds and buildings. At reception there are signing sheets for all rooms/events which you put your child’s name down whether it is to play on the trampolines for 15 mins or to use the sensory room. There is also a Music Room, Soft Play Area, and various rooms with different meanings like Construction Room (Lego) Games Room (pool, Table Football, Wii Console) and also an Arts Room where you can paint, make things out of clay or woodwork in the school holidays which is fantastic as the kids get to take home what they have made. The grounds are fantastic with Football Goals, Climbing Wall, a massive climbing frame, Outdoor Musical activity play, bikes for all ages, go karts etc. The day was fun packed and over all a great day out. There is a Cafe where you can buy hot and cold drinks from £1.50 to £2.00 and sandwiches to a full breakfast from £3.50 to £6.00 and also Cakes, cookies etc. There are lockers for you to place your belongings which are free but you will need to take your own padlock for extra security. There are rooms solely for Teenage kids but we did not need these but I could see a small multi-gym and it looked great. Will definitely be returning again soon. All the kids loved it and can’t wait to return too. Great value for money.
