We did a one day tour from Axum to Wukro, stopping at the abuna yemata church.Haile was a great guide.he kept us informed about the region and the church.i must admit, scaling the rock wall with no safety equipment is not for everyone so make sure to get the full information before attempting this trip.we were supposed to do 3 churches but time simply ran out.so I recommend talking with Haile regarding time line for this excursion.i highly recommend taking this trip with sycamore Ethiopia tours. Haile was one.of the best guides we had in ethiopia.he was friendly and very informative.

We went on a 4-day trek in the Simien Mountains in April 2019 and had the most amazing time. Alex was very helpful and accommodating from the beginning, and everything was well organized and smooth. Our guide was an absolute legend (a 70+ year old who was way fitter than any of us) who knew the mountains inside and out and was incredibly knowledgeable about flora and fauna, especially birds which my mum (an avid bird watcher) was very excited about. Highly recommended to anyone who likes an adventure.

We had a 14 day trip in Ethiopia, mainly to visit Omo Valley and Dallol. We enjoyed the trip. Kanu was great, car optimal, distances long to drive, but educational and inspiring. Selection of lodges good, food something new for us, but great. If you go to Afrika, this is a fine combination of adventure not to touristic vacation. We would highly recommended Access Eco Trekking and Kanu as a guide and we would definitely use them again should we back in Ethiopia. Igor & Romana

The best and most devoted company in the region. Very accurate in time and prices, which is rare in Ethiopia. I recommend it to everyone who wants to tour the whole country. Their specialty is the Tigray and Danakil region. p.s. Tigray is very peaceful region.

expat in Addis , My family and I had a fantastic experience with EthioTours . Had a fantastic morning tour on lake Tana . Beautiful sunrise and a fantastic breakfast. The guide was really knowledgeable about all the animals we saw and explained about the fishermen and what they were doing. Saw plenty of hippos too! It was an amazing experience, we visited three beautiful islands . We would like to thank Melese for showing us all unique areas and sharing the stories . Private tour was absolute best way to relax and see the beauty of the lake. Highly recommended !

He was very attentive: I did video on the way with opened windows and driver closed window for safety and said me I can continue to video street life. I liked traditional clothing market a lot: if you want to have really beautiful souvenir from Ethiopia, I think Shiromeda ( I'm not sure, if I wrote it correctly..) is the best possible place)) I really highly appreciative for the service I had. We visited Mercato market and I felt totally safe there: without a guide I would never go there. But with the guide it was very interesting and safe visit. The tour is flexible and it's great: you can choose what is interesting for you. We bought good coffee on the way and also I've tasted avocado and mango juice)) The owner of company is great and treated me in the best way)) Highly recommended Ethio Travel and Tours for your tours through Ethiopia and Addis.
