Welcome to Barclay Books of York, Western Australia. We are dealers in new, used and rare books. If the book you are after is not in stock, we will find it for you! Barclay Books, prepare to be surprised!
A little gem, for the booklover. Good quality collection, knowledgeable and helpful owner, very enjoyable browsing. A general second-hand book dealer, but without the acres of forgettable pop paperbacks so often found. This collection has quality and interest.

Honey and Fig is a homewares and gift store in York WA with a beautiful mix of local artisan products and carefully selected quality brands. Supporting other Wheatbelt small crafts and small businesses. Proudly stocking great Australian brands. You will find original and hand made goods in the store. We relocated to the Old York Mill complex, which was built to produce flour from the farms surrounding the town. York is still a staple supplier of flour including export to Japan for their noodle production.

Lovely coffee shop, nice coffee (will add to out list of global favourites!) and the food was tasty - the ricotta/spinach roll and veggie frittata were excellent. Love the coffee cups also - modern, quirky to some degree with an interesting 'history' Great place, had a wonderful breakfast in the autumn sun.

What a pleasant surprise to visit Patchwork on Avon - a treasure trove for lovers of craft and sewing. I bought some lovely cotton silk yarn and rang Carol the owner to buy some more at a later date. She was extremely helpful with colour choice and the amount of yarn I would need for my project. The yarn arrived five days later. Jane

A delightful shop to browse through in the main street of York. Oma's Cottage Creations offers a variety of products for sale from arts/crafts to home made creams and cleaning products that are all of a very high standard. The owner Sue offers a wealth of knowledge on all her products and is happy to answer any queries. A pleasant surprise in a country town that I will revisit again.

The End End Gallery, within the historic Forbes Building on Vincent Street, has the primary focus on supporting and promoting Wheatbelt artists. Open since December 2014, the Gallery and Giftshop now encompass 150 square metres and display space. We pride ourselves on being innovative in our presentation and offering our guests an educative and entertaining visit. Attached to the Gallery is Michael's workshop which features his impressive collection of found metal objects and is also his creative space. Using artifacts from the early ming, pastoral and agricultural industries, Michael weaves the stories of the men, women and children who lived and worked in these settings. As our artists have grown in number, we have also become keepers of their stories. As we approach one hundred artists within our Artists Precinct, we look forward to welcoming new guests and old friends. Warm regards, Kate and Michael.
