12 Lanes, intimate setting, great music, automatic scoring, full Bar & Grill, Cosmic Bowling Fri. & Sat. nights, family friendly. 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 Cleveland Magazine's "Best of the West"-Birthday Party Place. Great place to hold your next birthday, corporate party, reunion, or fundraiser.
My husband and I went tonight and had the greatest time. So inexpensive to play a few games and have a few drinks. The owners are hilarious and fun to talk to. Not a fancy establishment, but homey and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

It was nice to visit while the small butterfly house was open (approx. Father's Day to Labor Day). A knowledgeable docent was on hand to give us the names of the types of butterflies and answer questions. This is not a huge exhibit, nor one with dozens of types of butterflies. The flower beds and planters on the grounds are attractive. We also took time to walk in the conservatory.

Went here both evening I was in town for a conference. Great better end boutiques, still ample parking on Friday and Saturday evenings, with good food options inside the mall area. Out door fireplace to sit at on a cold evening

If you visit, DO NOT SWIM HERE!! Repeated: DO NOT SWIM HERE. There's a deadly rip current from the power plant that causes many to drown. There's so many drownings here, this beach should be closed. It's not a normal Lake Erie beach. The power plant shoots water into the lake that causes a current that kills many. Add a bit of wind and it's especially deadly. The city thinks the problem is solved by banning swimming near the plant. This beach is just as deadly.
The pier is good for fishing. It's nice clean and safe but I will never swim off that beach as long as I live.

I've been to several tribute shows at this venue over 2 years and we've always had a good time. Admission is reasonably priced. Lots of free parking and easy access. Employees at the ticket table have always been very friendly. The entertainment has always been enjoyable. David Brighton's Space Oddity is a must see. Would like to see "designated" smoking areas. Not a fan of secondary smoke. Also, inside restrooms would have been great. That's why I gave it 4 stars. No place to wash hands and porta-johns never have hand sanitizer in them.

Hop on a bicycle, lace up your running shoes or take your time strolling through any part of this scenic 60-mile long string of parks and garden areas.
There are multiple reservations/nature centers that make up the 'Emerald Necklace'. Each one is in a unique setting. It is truly a gem of Ohio- other states aren't as fortunate to have anything like this. If you have free time, I really recommend getting involved with one of their volunteer programs- great for high school students and adults of all ages.

Great for children to see tortoises, rabbits, fish and birds. Their was also a fox, a few snakes and frogs. The birds were in small and old cages but was told most couldn't fly or were being rehabilitated to be released at a later date.
Many programs exist for scouting groups, children's camps or family learning centre but not really geared to the passing tourist. This recreation is free so if you want to fill in an hour or practise your photographic techniques you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect a mini zoo.
If you are looking for bird feeders or a variety of bird seeds then their little shop is sure to have what you are looking for. If it is advice you are after then the lady that runs it is extremely knowledgable.

I visited Crocker Park for my birthday weekend. We had hotel reservations at the Hyatt Place (right next to the movie theater), so my boyfriend and I decided to go see Moana after dinner at Cheesecake Factory. I really enjoyed this movie theater! This place is huge - somewhere around fifteen different theaters and an escalator. The seats in the theater are not the big plush recliners, but they do recline slightly and you can lift up the armrest in between seats if you would like. As we were leaving, we saw that they have Christmas classics showing every Saturday at noon for $5 (which is a real deal, because most things in Crocker Park aren't cheap - our tickets for a Friday night were about $12 each). And if you have a Regal membership card, you could also get a drink and popcorn combo for $5 during the Christmas movie. We came back the next day and saw A Christmas Story! I would recommend this movie theater to anyone visiting the area.

We live a couple miles from this winery and routinely pass it several times a week. Every time we go there, we say we will not go back but every couple of years we stop in to see if it has improved. I have to say that the staff today was significantly better then people who served us in the past, however, the wines (we sampled several) cannot compare to other wineries in the region. In fairness, I have to point out that we prefer dry reds, and this is not the winery for this type of wine. They seem to draw lots of customers and I would guess that sweet and fruit wine drinkers may be their customer base. It will be a few years before we stop again.

Sprenger Health Care Stadium is the home of the Lake Erie Crushers, an professional, independent baseball team affiliated with the Frontier League. Aside from hosting the 48 Crushers home games, Sprenger Stadium hosts the Mid-American Conference Baseball Tournament, local college and high school baseball games, and concerts. Enjoy a fun, affordable night for the whole family at Sprenger Health Care Stadium!
The stadium is the perfect size to take a young family. You are up close to the action, it is very well maintained. If you happen to be there on a fireworks night, you will not be disappointed! Also, it is very accessible from I90.
