I had the most marvelous experience with Veronique Hery in Aveyron, France. First of all, she is a marvelous and accommodating hostess. She is also extremely knowledgeable about so many places, things, and people in her location. Her house is a newly remodeled home originally built in 1930 (recently by French standards). Veronique is totally bilingual. She is very caring to her house guest. Lots of FUN to be with, and gives space as needed. I wholeheartedly recommend her as your guide. The area of and near Aveyron is little known by outsiders, yet it is beautiful and historic. Rolling hills, 12th century hilltop villages, historic city of Albi, a great but undiscovered wine region called Marcillac, and Veronique as your guide. A great way to spend a week, or more. The only downside is it's a bit harder to get to the Rodez area than most other parts of France, but it's well worth the small extra hassle.

If you are in the Sarlat area, you simply must book this tour. Our hosts were delightful, knowledgeable, and passionate about the Perigord area, wines, food, etc., and were so accommodating to every wish. We fit in more sights and experiences than I thought possible for a day tour, and I am thrilled that we fit so much into the day. We would never have found some of these unique experiences on our own, and it is very nice to sit back and enjoy the ride with locals who can point out the sites and organize so many special visits. The group was small (only two couples and our two hosts) which allowed for easy transportation and great conversation. The lunch was delicious, and honestly, it would take too long to list all the wonderful stops we made, so read the itinerary and sign up for this tour. You will have a fabulous time!

We had great time, my wife and I, to discover Perigord with perigourmet. The vintage french car transported us in time, our guides made us feel comfortable (perfect english, super friendly atitude). We learned a lot about local producers, and best of all we tried it all. Our visit included tour of a truffle producer, Bio winery, lunch in Sarlat, visit of a local biscuit factory and finnaly a "distillerie" Our host made a taillor trip for us (my wife being vegetarian) it is especially nice in a region where meat is served in every dish Thanx again and see you next time

I will be your driver-guide during this day, I will personally guide you in Conques to discover the village and the famous tympanum of the Sainte-Foy church. The ideal duration of this excursion is around 9 hours: 2h30 drive to Conques, 4 hours on site and 2h30 return journey. In November 2019, my parents, sister and I arrived in Toulouse from Portugal after visiting Fatima. We had made arrangements to take the train from Toulouse to Lourdes and back for the day. However, the weather was cold and we decided to change our plans the previous day and hire a car and guide. Although I had researched tours before leaving home from the US, I was quite nervous to book a tour online especially the last minute but I am very glad that I did! We were very fortunate to have signed up with Toursud. I was able to talk to Arnaud immediately after booking the tour and confirm our plans. My parents are 91 and 85 years old, and we wanted this trip to be convenient, safe and relaxing for them. And that is exactly what we got with Arnaud. Arnaud is very fluent in English so it was easy to communicate our needs, as we did not speak French. Arnaud is one of the kindest, considerate, attentive, patient and knowledgeable person I have met. He greeted us at our hotel in the morning as planned with a nice clean van. He drove us on our two-hour journey with the picturesque Pyrenees Mountains with the morning sun shimmering on the snow-capped peaks as our view. Arnaud was prepared with books for us to read about Lourdes in the van and entertained us with a pleasant conversation about the region, and the history of Lourdes. While at the Sanctuary in Lourdes, Arnaud was with us explaining the different areas of the Sanctuary and gave us suggestions for lunch and stores. He also drove us to St. Bernadette’s house where she grew up and gave us a tour of the house. Arnaud was very patient and attentive and did not make it a rushed tour which made is very relaxing and easy for my parents. I would highly recommend Toursud to anyone regardless of age, as Arnaud is a person who will tailor your tour to your needs and give you a very memorable experience. Thank you Toursud and Arnaud for making our trip beautiful.
