We used to visit this park in late 90s when we were living in Iselin. When we visited a few weeks ago, we were delighted to see the park so much improved with facilities and upkeep. There are spots for picnics, playing, place for artists to perform and everything a good community park should have. Felt very nice to be here.

Built in 1925 this theater has been restored. Fantastic! Large open space. Terrific ambience. As you walk in the main entrance take your time and look around. Take in your surroundings and imagine yourself back in time. How it must have been an excitement to be entertained in such luxury.

My wife and I have been retired for a few years now. We were in somewhat good shape and loved working out years ago. Well we kept putting off getting back into shape for no real good reason. We live less than a mile from the community center and drive pass frequently. Well there was an offer to signup at a reduced rate. We decided to give it a try and was quite surprised at what was offered there. We workout several times per week and also enjoy shooting pool and just meeting new people. We have been having fun going and getting in better shape. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Garwood's original real life Escape Game experience! Located in a prime spot next to Crunch Fitness in the Kings Shopping Center, up to 6 players will be challenged in this new attraction by working together to find clues, solve puzzles, and pick locks that will free them from the game room. Do you have what it takes to escape? Never play with strangers at our private rooms, book group events too!

Heliflights Helicopter Tour around New York City.
We took the night tour. Because the helicopter is doing a circle from Linden towards Liberty Statue, Hudson river, Central Park, East river and back, the people (me) seating on the rear left (behind the pilot) do not see anything of Manhattan, while the others on right side and front seem to enjoy sone view.
I would skip this activity

Not you typical park. As you come upon this waterfront gem, you see a large lighthouse. There is a miniature golf course, a large pier, pavilion for summer concerts and a boat ramp. There are plenty of seats to enjoy the nice days. There is a little of everything for everyone to enjoy. Bait cutting stations for the fishermen, walking paths with exercise stations strategically placed. There are restrooms centrally located, and right near the swings / slides for the young ones. This is a well thought out park that is continuing to expand. Kudos to the planners and facilitators.

We reserved the main diningroom for my husband's 65th birthday and retirement. Great food and music as well as a gracious host and servers. They helped with balloons as well as drinks and food and served the birthday cake. They also provided gluten free dishes for some of our guests who needed that

I have lived in Edison my entire life and kind of took the light and museum for granted. One day my husband and I took a tour of the museum. We go to see the light often but I never was in the museum. What a wonderful experience. Kathleen was so friendly and informative!!! What made me want to see it was that we saw a young couple from Texas outside taking pictures - a husband, wife and small child. If they felt it was important enough to make it a vacation stop we should be ashamed of ourselves living in Edison and not visiting it!!!! We are so glad that we did!! What a treasure.

We are an elderly couple who like to take our grandsons on vacation with us. We try to use a different type of transportation each time. They wanted to see New York City, and having been there before, we knew that WE did not want to drive into the city. We stayed at a nice resort, near Atlantic City, but we could not find a tour bus that would take us to our destination. We had taken a bus from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, but did not find anything like to New York.
Getting creative, we contacted Santos Limo Services in Avenel, NJ. We drove the short distance to Avenel and met our driver at noon. We rented the ten passenger limo for seven hours, at what we thought an extremely reasonable price. We provided the itinerary for our "must see" sites in New York, including Sleepy Hollow, "The Beast" tour of the Statue of LIberty, and Times Square. Our driver, Lewis, was caring and considerate. He dropped us off, and picked us up curbside, where we would never have found parking, ourselves. I realize that not everyone can afford to travel in this style, but this could be a consideration, especially for small groups or large families.
