Akhal-Teke horse ranch organizes excellent multi-day rides and expeditions. The herd of mostly Arabian and Arabian cross mares are very well looked after 'family members' and are naturally tough and athletic. Nimbly they cross this sometimes challenging terrain with ease and are always eager to move out at speed when asked. Several horses are also Turkish endurance champions. They are well trained as trekking horses and there is a horse to suit every kind of rider temperament and ability. Ercihan is an enthusiastic and high experienced guide, as is his son Bekir. It is a real joy experiencing this strangely beautiful and fascinating environment with them.

I visited with my family both ceramic gallery and museum. Amazing experience, my daughter made own vase and they shipped after kilning of it to my home. I purchased also amazing ceramic which is miniature handmade craft with good price. A hint for you, find Mrs Zeynep, she helped us for the handmade miniature craft with fair discount. Do not miss when you visit Nevsehir, strongly suggest & you will not regret.

The first and unique underground ceramic museum in the world.
This museum/gallery houses small a collection of ancient artefacts, and a large collection of art/ceramics from local artists. Their main focus however, is the museum shop, which has a very large collection of ceramic items: plates, bowls, jugs displayed across multiple rooms. The painting techniques were explained and we were able to watch some of the artists at work. The staff in the museum and shop were helpful, not too pushy either. Prices were reasonable and are fixed so there was no awkward haggling. We ended up buying a few small items. If you are staying in Goreme, there is a bus every hour to Avanos for 5TL each way. Entrance fee is 10TL, please note the museum pass is not accepted here as this is a privately owned museum.
