People working there are nice but this doesnt mean (unfortunately) tours are good, organisation should be improved. Annecy was a beautiful place but you Can hardly hear the record they play during the tour with historic detaills and once in the city you are alone and free to explore on your own. I was supposed to go on a city tour as well which was cancelled and I got to know this once I was there ready to start... They found a place for me in a cheaper tour... Refunding me the difference and the driver forgot to pick me up to do the third part... Luckily I have a swiss phone so I could call the agency. Also would say they cant speak good English so it makes communication difficult.

Less than an hour drive from Geneva, you will arrive in the charming town of Annecy, also known as "The Venice of the Alps". Discover Annecy at your own pace and leisure. Its castles, the old town, and of course the lake will make your day unforgettable. Annecy sits on the shores of a glacial lake, considered one of the cleanest in Europe. Rising from Lake Annecy’s crystalline waters are massifs and rocky peaks that are reflected on its glassy surface. The Thiou river, an outflow of the lake, runs through La Vieille Ville (Old Town) in translucent, sea-green canals. Visitors walk along their flowering banks, exploring private passages and secret spaces. Take a stroll on the shores of Lake Annecy and then spend the remaining tour time exploring the Alpine gem at your own leisure. You may spend 3 hours to explore this lovely hermitage before departing back to Geneva for 7 pm.

Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Audio Guide during the bus trip, Free time in Annecy, Capture the canals of the Venice of the Alps, Feel the history with Palais de l'ile, prison from the 12th century

Exclusions: Food and drinks, Hotel pickup and drop-off

Storyline: In 1760, the Massif du Mont Blanc became the main focus of Horace Bénédict de Saussure. Remarkable scientist, his wish is to get to the highest summit in Europe in order to conduct some research. History has it that a reward was promised to the first man to reach the summit. Mr De Saussure created the first “Mont Blanc race” with the objective of finding trustworthy guides that would, later on, take him to the top of the Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc race is, above all, a quest where only the elite of the most experienced guides can find a place. Guides from all over Europe must take several physical, intellectual, and psychological tests to prove their expertise and knowledge of the mountain environment and its secrets. They also have to demonstrate their open-mindedness. Following these tests, only the three best groups will compete in the final challenge: the ascent of the Mont Blanc.
